That is samsung customer care. I had a missed call and research first then tried calling back the number. And it is confirmed.

From what company is this number

THIS NUMBER CALLED ME AND I DON'T KNOW WHO OR WHERE IT IS COMING.

How did you call back using your smartphone? I don't have a landline here

This is the second time that this number 0279170525 called me. The first was on Feb. 28.

This number called me again today! Got a call from them twice and 1 missed. Whenever I answered the call, they will immediately h-up. It shows on my phone that it was Samsung PH but why would they call me if I don't have any business or application with them. Some comment says it was BPI Customer Care but why would they h.up if they are legit people who wants to do business with you?

Also got a call from this number saying they're Samsung Care offering vouchers for discounts for Samsung aplliances

My phone is a Samsung phone and this number called and its call appear with its number and its name which is SAMSUNG PH, but when i pick it up, it immediately hung up.

I find this suspicious as i don't have pending business with them.

this number also called me today saying they're from samsung. i wonder how they came to know my name ??? super suspicious

This number is calling me then when I answered the call, it ended.

This called me today and they hang up. I called them back and said they are from Samsung Philippines and they called to offer the Samsung Retention Program where I am entitled of 15% discount.

Suspected it is a scam.

this number called me too 4x last was just today 20/04/2023. Every time I answer, they will hang up. I am suspecting this is a scam number so will be blocking it. Any official business, if it was legit they will not be hanging up.

Received a call from them today twice. Answered the last one but no one is speaking. Maybe it's just promotions and spam.

Recieved a ring from this phone number today.
I am lazy answering thinking its just a call that will hung up after I take it.

Received their call today, when i take the call i dont hear anything from the other line so i hung up. I tried to call them back cos im curious why did they call and who are they. The system just says that "the customr service specialist is not available at the moment" so it means i have to wait in the line, well i ended the call. I hope that ntc will look  into this.

I have the same experience, I received a call from this number awhile ago but as soon as I answered it, the [***] just hunged up on me. Really suspicious, moreso when all cp numbers are registered to each accordingly then suddenly a landline would call? NTC should look into this ASAP!

i had business with them last week, i went to samsung costumer service center in sm grand central to fix my friends phone, and gave them my number to contact me when phone is done. i got the phone already but they called me today. the point is i didnt gave them permission to use my number beyond our transaction. i blocked it right away, my own phone is not even samsung.
