This is Masum and I just received a call from one of the number mentioned and then I asked him to help me getting rid of my number from their lists then I explained that I am receiving so many calls from these companies so if he knows anyway to help me stop these calls,
Then he gave me this website address.

Which is a website provided by government body and can be used to stop sales peoples call to your number and it is valid for 8 years. So register your number with them then it will take 30 days and after that there will be no more calls from these sales people. But if you still receive calls from them after 30 days then please lodge a complaint through that website I believe it will damage that company pretty badly.

That number keeps calling and when I call back just a jumbled message recording.

these guy are from call center becoz i try to play dumb and say that i wan to sign up so i can get deeper in to them.

u can block there number if u got a iphone u just need go in phone setting and go to blocked. u can just create a a name so when u go in block it will ask u wat name u want to block da number and they cant call u.

Keep calling while I'm at work three days now, no msg so I don't call back

This number has been calling me for several days now and I tried to ring them back but its just a pre recorded message. I managed ti talk to someone and she sounded Indian or something. If I heard it right it was a insurance company. I told he Im not interested. Still I got calls today!
How do you get rid of these nasty calls?

The company uses an auto-dialer to retrieve your mobile number as well as some telecommunications companies on-selling your number (and sometimes your details) to third party marketing companies. We used to do this at Telstra, Vodafone and also Three. Worst part is now that a lot of the companies use offshore contractors, some of the individuals sell your details illegally to marketing companies as well.

I´ve received loads of calls from this number, last one about 5 minutes ago. They always ask for Mrs Alison (?!?!?!), I tell them they´ve got the wrong number but they just start reeling off their little speech. They´re trying to sell funeral insurance, I told the last guy I wasn´t interested and hung up. I´ve just registered my number with https://www.donotcall.gov.au/onlineNumReg.cfm .. hope it helps because I´m sooo fed up!

Received a call from this number at 11am. Its a telemarketing company called Optimal Transnational based in New Delhi, India. They are generating leads for Insurance Line. I listened to his spiel because it is what I do for work and I'm interested in how other companys approach customers. The agent was polite and well spoken but had trouble accepting that I didn't actually qualify for the product. He continued to try and confirm my contact details even though I made it clear I would be unable to receive the call. As I work in the industry, I made sure to not be rude or disrespectful to the job the agent was trying to do as we are all just trying to put food on the table. If you are interested in receiving a quote for funeral insurance, hear them out. If not, www.donotcall.gov.au will stop future calls after 30days from registering.

I'm certain that I got it when I entered a competition and the Home Buyers and Property Investment Expo. Not sure which stall was the guilty party as I entered half a dozen competitions.

Rang the first time and asked for some other random person who isn't even in the household and then he goes on to say if he could talk with me.  Told him I was home sick and was going to end the call - and I did.  Then rings back a second time - I didn't realise it was the same phone number until I checked the phone numbers, but no one answered  so I hung up again.  If I see the number again I wont be answering it.  Give up already!!  Talk about persisten and pesky!

they have called my mobile several times this week - unfortunately I answered twice when I didn't have my glasses on! they asked for Anna Lee then when I said wrong number they asked could they speak to me for 2 minutes anyway!! What a cheek, so I told them off and said don't ring me again. Now I need to grab my specs before answering the phone!

I answered and there is a pause then I can hear the phone click over to a cold caller.

I quickly put them on mute.. Listen the the curry muncher say... hello hello and then they hang up.

just a hang up tone.

keep being called once to twice daily from this number. Had to turn my voice mail function off as if I missed or rejected the call they would let voice mail record a silent message for however many minutes.
how can we stop these pest callers?

I'm constantly getting calls from (02) 80142179 and at the moment I'm in the USA looking after my partner and the times that they have been calling are in the middle of the night here just tried of getting the calls before I left to come to the USA I got a call from some number trying to sale me insurance
