I missed a call from this number today. Stamped 2:24pm

Sorry, optus is crap! the ringing tone is really short & the call diverts to a "DING DONG" - followed by an annoying pommy lady saying crap.... then the ends automatically after 5-6 "ring-rings" Contacting me would involve 3 consecutive calls. HAHAHAHAHAHAA!

I hope this person was pranking me. BRING IT BETCH!!!! :)

Oh, I know what you mean! Some lady with an annoying bogan accent called me up telling me something about an application too! But not about commonwealth bank! But some crap about a lost dog that isn't even mine!!!

Number keeps ringing me daily. Morning, afternoon and night.

No idea who it is never answer. Should I answer it?

Im in QLD so the area code is NSW im told. Don't know why they would be calling.

I have had this exact number call me yesterday (13/02) and twice today (14/02). NFI who it is and like other posters have said, they do not leave a voice message.

i have been getting a call from this number too many times for days.... would love to know who and why are doing it!!!

Getting missed call from the same number. Called back and an answering machine picked up saying that a "financial adviser will call me back" or something. I think I have received a call before from Commonwealth Bank with the same number trying to sell me a service. Unsure if scam or not, but I rather walk into a branch for stuff like this - that, or at least it is me calling them up (safer).

random calls every few days. i've stopped answering/ I'm also on Commonwealth Bank- not sure if it's related to other comment below.

It is a call from a call centre. Question is, which one? Affiliate with banks for sure. BUT ... Was it an authentic call? If it was a prank call. I give it a 7.5/10

Rule number 1 (if it was a prank) NEVER mention a name that is familar to a client.

I rang it back (on work phone!) seems to be 'Aegon Direct'- a telemarketer, check the website.  Always a real crappy reception, cant hear what the other dudes saying, then i hang up.  Not the best way to get customers eh......

My parent got a call for me(they said my name) and since i was at work they hung up.

If it was important they would have rung me on my mobile or left a message in any shape or form

I've also got 3 missed calls from this number this week, I've been at work every time but this morning I answered and they hung up straight away. So
I googled the number out of curiousity and was suprised to see it happens to others aswell. Very odd!

By the looks of things this is a scammer - this is harrassment - why is this number still in existence?

I am getting the same as yourself here - not only is this creepy - where is the "dialler" getting our numbers from?
