I'm on 3 prepaid, gotten this call everyday for the last week at 11am. I live in perth. god, this is annoying.

I've got call from this f... no. I am with telestra.

I'm gettin' it too... no use in callin' back... reckon it maybe from ICT Australia... anyway, who gives a damn? if you/anyone known to you disclose your number publicly, this may happen... like, writing down "0430706686" on trains, walls, public rest rooms etc.. and btw hey, it's my number... don't prank me up 'cause i'm a guy and i'm 18 :p

i have been getting a call from this number, and also this number, 0280199700, everyday for the last week, no one has ever been there, and it is really getting annoying!!

I got this call for the millionth time today so have finally taken action.
I rang Optus to complain (131-344). After nearly 10 mins being passed around to various people, I was able to talk to a Susie who took my name, mobile number and address and she was to 'opt me out' of all of their cold-call marketing.
I'll wait to see how successfuul it is.
If anyone else is over the harrassment from Optus, I'd suggest you contact them and do the same.

I been getting thse ph. calls on my wirless broadband so I can not pick up the phone. Every week I recive one of those phone calls from 02/86671900 and 02/80199700
When I ring back the 02/86671900 it soung like i m ringing an oversease number must be those Indians who are trying to get peoples credit cards over the phone idiots

THEY CALL ME EVERY [***] DAY FOR THE PAST WEEK. I have not answered it once. I reject them all the time and they immediately call back when I do. I'm so irritated.

i know im a bit late but this number has been calling me for the last week and is very enoying grrrr

yeah im from melb and i got it sony phone also. freaky stories

get this call twice a day morning and afternoon for 5 weeks now i dont answer but they dont stop calling

i have received a call from the number 02 86671900, atleast once every two days for over 3 weeks now, i have answered the call numerous times and nobody responds and when i try to call back i also get told that the phone line is not available. Does anybody know what number that is or who it is from???

I have had this number call my phone for like 2 weeks straight ive tried calling and it sounds the same as what others are saying on here. What the hell is this number. im with 3 network. no one talks. Plus ive had some recent prank calls and this is really ticking me off. Lucky i have another number

this has happen to me on my wireless broadband as well. same exact numbers so  funny how im not the only one in this stupid world thats getting them. lol it does sound like a overseas number maybe theyre trying to start a new thing. ill tell u its so freakin annoying.

im with 3 not vodaphone and i keep getting this bloody number everyday sometimes twice i think its optus cause they actually got through to me once and were offering promotions

I've had the same thing happen to me....I picked up the phone once, and they said they were from Optus...but I just hung up on them. Now they call me everyday.

hi everyone.. i have some info about this number.. i too have been getting a missed call from this number pretty much everyday for the last 3 months up until today.. they finally answered and i found some interesting information..
its from Optus Marketing.. but its from the Phillipines.. Optus has contracted this out to a company in Phillipines. The Guy i spoke to(Jerome) wouldn't give me the company he works for but told me that Optus got my number from something called a Public Prefix? i have no idea what this is but chances are its illegal. Im with Three and i rang them and they said they didnt give my number out. Im not in the white pages nor did i consent to my number at any time be given to any parent company for any purpose whatsoever, so i seriously questioned whether they were telling the truth. I know im not alone but i implore you all to ring this number 1300 785 749 its the Industry Complaints line for the ACMA.. make an official complaint like i did and told Jerome from Optus that i would. i also made a secondary complaint about Three just in case theya re not telling the truth.. hope this helps..

i've been getting calls from this number at least once a day for the last month. they never leave a voice message and anytime i answer the phone i either get hung up on right away (if i say hello) or it just stays silent for a while and the hangs up (if i don't say hello and remain quite). im on 3 and live in melbourne

I too have been receiving these calls too, glad to hear I am not the only one.  I am on 3 Mobile Broadband.  I have spoken to 3 who cannot block individual numbers, and cannot block these calls to broadband because it interferes with the service.  

I have however made a complaint about this number and pointed out that it is a widespread problem.  

I will also make a ACMA complaint as I think 'adam' is right that for something to be done we should all do this.
