Got a call from these twice - kept them on the phone both times.
The girl was having trouble not laughing as she read the Bullsh*t from her crib sheet.
She directed me to the avon insurance website - looks bogus.
I really wanted to let rip into her, but usually these kids have no idea that they are working for fraudsters.

Its a bogus company. Don't even answer unless you have a whistle at hand and wish to return the annoyance factor. Report them to Natwest (for fraud), and register your number at http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/ which should cut out all the junk calls - if they persist you will need to call mpsonline, and they will follow it up. Other than that, answer and just don't hang up your phone. They won't be able to dial out until you decide to hang up.

ive had this number ring through the week at the same time each day for the last 2 weeks on my mobile,if i dont know the number i wont answer.ive reported it to natwest and they instructed me to inform the police due to a sudden increase of people with same complaint,i advise all yo do the same.

I've just got a call from this number, I was too busy to answer at the time, had a look at the number and thought it looked suspicious, I Googled the number and found myself here.

Funny thing is I do have a Natwest account, but I haven't given them my mobile number they only have my landline number so i'm very suspicious.

I've had a missed call from this number today, I thought it looked a strange number so Googled it and got here - thanks for the advice guys, I'll report it to my bank tomorrow.

I have received a number of calls from 02819287005, always at around late morning/early afternoon. I have not answered this call and the caller never leaves a v-mail. I Googled it tonight and am alarmed that it may be from a fraudulent source.

i keep getting calls from this number so i googled it and this site popped up.

thanks for all the advice and i will report it to both my natwest bank and the police im really glad i didnt answer them now.

I've had 5 calls from this number in 3 days. They never leave a message. I immediately googled the number and found this forum.

The last time they called I answered but there was no one on the end of the line. Perhaps they were trying to encourage me to call them back at a premium rate perhaps.

Anyways I called the Natwest fraud team. They confirmed it wasn't a natwest number. I also called 02 but infortunately they cannot bar individual numbers. So, if the caller calls again, I will politely inform them that I am not interested.

I have just had a call from this number, but as I didnt recognise it  I choose not to answer. Glad I looked at this site as I too have Natwest Accounts

I got this same call and they said it was Natwest doing a survey- background was very noisy so we hung up HOWEVER i phoned my local natwest who checked the number and they said it was a GENUINE call...marketing team. But I still wouldn't answer it again.. Bit odd that someone above said Natwest said it was a fraud number

Hi folks. Just had one of these too. Will also report to natwest and as non-urgent crime. Meantime, trying to sort out how our data is getting to these guys. Do we have something in common - Mobile provider perhaps? I'm with Orange. Or maybe it is one of the banks leaking personal data. Thoughts, info please.

I had a missed call from this number today. Do any of you get the text alerts from NatWest? I know that it is a third party provider so maybe they pass on your info?

I never get marketing calls from NatWest as some time ago, I asked them not to, and in 2 years or so they have honoured this request.

Just got a call from this number myself. Ignored it as I don't pick up unknown call centre numbers (as this appeared to be)
Googled the number and found this.

just had a phonecall off this number didnt answer it rang my natwest branch she rang it and she says its a genuine 3rd party natwest thing that give out info that u cant get in branch still odd tho! i said to her i still dont trust it though and wont be answering any calls.

Just got a call from this number asking me to confirm date of birth,so they ask over my full name but with my surname spelled incorrectly..I am with O2...My name as he spell it is incorrectly on one of my bills (Thames Water)..so I consider they took details from them

Avon Insurances Website is not bogus, They are part Of the NFUMutal and are based in stratford upon avon, They also underwrite policies on Natwests behalf!! Which is why you are recieving the calls.. All legal and above board!

Getting called from this number daily, I answer but do not say anything as googled the number first. They hang on for about 17-30seconds. and still they call me every day.

ive just started recving calls from this number, i rang Natwest direct,they are not aware of this number,ive logged this a phishing scam,dont give them any details!

just had a call from 02891287002, must be same people. bangor northern ireland.I didn't answer

Have missed 2 calls from 02891287005 today, not recognising it I googled it and ended up here. Thank goodness I did. I tried to call my own branch of Natwest to report it but they have changed their way of answering calls now too. The automated voice asks you for your account number, sort code AND 4 digit PIN code which I WILL NOT type in so I can't get through to talk to anyone. Will have to sort it next time I'm in town.
