    I too got a call from Carnegie Morgan Hill about a year ago. I have to say that sometimes you need to give people a chance because these guys actually helped me. My finances are all sorted and I'm going to take years off my mortgage which would have lasted beyond retirement. I hope this helps people make an informed decision because i have referred my closest friends to these guys.

    Sounds like Happy Customer is a Carnegie Morgan Hill employee who has done a google search and found some negative feedback on their company. For the record no reputable mortgage broking/financial planning company solicits business via cold calling and instead rely on referrals from satisfied clients. It seems like they are gearing up for further expansion so expect some more calls soon. I also had a call from them even though I am on the do not call register

    CMH is one of the most dodgy firms I have ever meet in my 30 year business career.  I feel sorry for the advisers there as they all seemed to be genuine guys who really wanted to help however their boss Daniel White made them do unethical things and threatened their jobs.  

    I have lodged my hatred of Daniel White with The ACCC and Financial Ombudsman and hope that they bring him down.  He doesnt care at all about his clients, staff or personall credability.  Every dog has his day and I hope Daniel Realises his when he is roting in a jail cell

    Stay away potential investors unless you want to lose all your money and then be charged fees on top

    As a victim of this firm I can wholeheartedly say STAY AWAY, unfortunately the comments above all ring true apart from the one positive response. Its funny because they say all the right things but when the sh*t hits the fan there is no-one to take your calls. We have learn t a very hard lesson and have lost a lot of money, we don't know where to go in regards to taking action. I would be quite happy to lead a class action against these guys,trust me that's minor for what I would like to d to them.

    The company receives a 4% commision based on the value of the investment sold so why not leverage it up!

    As an ex-client, please be careful of Daniel White and also Natalie Wewer. They are both misleading, and do not tell the truth. Daniel is arrogant and Natalie is annoying. They lost a lot of my money, and charged me dearly for it. Please be warned when dealing with this company - THEY ARE TERRIBLE! I should never have trusted handing over money for them to invest.

    Someone help me, i dont know who to complain to, i have had alot of trouble with
    Daniel White, he never returns my calls.......no response to emails, he has totally ripped me off, and i lost alot of money. I cannot sleep at night.  I am trying to get information about my superannuation but he won't reply and i just want to get out of the SMSF they set me up.......also too the Mortgage broker there went and set up a new loan without my knowledge and now i am paying interest rates on it???  for something i never approved.  help.  I think i am in Becton, or they put some money into it.  i lost in everything they put my money into.  There fees are humungus......for doing NOTHING

    I am a client of there's and Daniel White has taken over my finances because ALL my Financial Planners have left me.  Been with them for over 2 years, they charged me an arm and a leg, and still losing heaps of money and Daniel won't return my calls because i want to get out of there???   So angry, no one helps you out.  But they sure know how to charge fees for doing NOTHING but lose your money.  Is there anyone we can complain to to get our money back??  I rang ASIC they did nothing as well.  Useless.....Also too the Mortgage Broker also has left and he went and set me up another $300,000 loan i didnt ask for, and now i want to cancel it, going to be charge massive fees to close it when i didnt ask for it, and he promised me that there would be no fees, but keep it in case you wanted to buy an investment property.  This is how shoddy they are.  Daniel wants nothing to do with it, so won't help me out.  He does'nt even ring me back. Always talks about FEES but doesnt help you.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.............
    So what did you do?  Yes Daniel White is arrogant alright.  Always puts you down and makes you out to be stupid......when he is the corrupt one.  We have to do something to close this company down or take them to court and demand all our money back for there lies.........

    Defintely stay away from CMH. Our story:

    I wish I had found this site before our first appointment with CMH. We had an appointment and made the mistake of paying $2,200 for a plan. After a couple of days I decided to pull out and our "advisor" offered to refund our fee but still proceed as he was confident we would be happy with it and said words to the effect that at the very least we would have a free plan.

    Suffice to say, after deciding not to proceed and numerous unanswered emails asking for the refund we finally got a reply  (after threatening to send a report to the FPA) that there was a "miscommunication" and that he told us we would get a refund if we didn't see any "value" in the plan and claimed that we agreed there was "value" during the presentation. in other words a play on words and refusal of the promised refund. Unfortunately all of this is hearsay so we have no written proof so I have just sent a letter to the FPA Investigations Officer as I don't think the Financial Ombudsman can do much for us. Judging from the other stories above we were lucky to get out and just lose $2,200.

    Gunns investor
    Carnegie Morgan Hill recommended I invest in some trees in Tasmania and Marc Ellis, my financial advisor at the time, misled me into thinking this was the best strategy.  Daniel White has refused to return my calls this past few days and I have not been contacted by this bloke since he sold this to me in 2009.  

    I have just been told that the tree company Gunns are in a financial mess and I may have lost over $60,000.  This is on top of approx $30,000 I have lost with the Becton property they sold me.  I am furious and have tried calling their office however no one will call me back.  I am talking with my accountant about taking legal action against this group.

    I have an appointment  with this firm next week and was suspicious as there website does not have an ABN listed. There are also several addresses listed for offices in Sydney.

    They sound very professional and talk "the story well..!!'
    I thought it strange that  had not heard of them before as I have been in Sydney for over 18 years.

    Since reading all the numerous  recent bad press about them I have naturally cancelled my appointment with them and would advise anyone else to do the same

    The old saying, "you pay for what you get" certaintly doesn't apply sometimes. Probably the highest fees in the industry and yet no-one returns your phone call. Seems like the CEO is going to get very busy soon

    I just had a meeting with CMH been a client for numerous years and only just caught upwith the news now i know what i have to do the fees are outrageous fees ontop of fees and then more fees.

    Hi Dan White and his company have been advising me and family for last 4 years. They have managed to help us save loads and invest in great areas.

    I would like to advise anyone out there that you have to listen to the professional opinion and do your own homework aswell before you invest in anything! i.e getting a tip in a horse race before checking the form.

    We have worked with Dan and his colleagues over the years and they always more than perform. We are very happy and would happily recommend the company
