just called me i answered n they hung up straight away, tried calling back but it's disconnected

same thing - this number call me, I answered and it hung up straight away - called back and it said disconnected

Yeah just picked up a call from this number and it hung up once there was a connection. Bizzare

I got a call also, but I actually answered. It was blank on the other end, like I was muted. I couldn't hear a thing and they hung up after I said hello a second time. Called back, number is disconnected.

This number has called me 3 times since this original post and each time they just hang up... ive blocked the number.

They are 'link education' trying to make people enrol in further education or with help finding a job. They've been calling non-stop for a week so I just answered and let him run his spiel.

I havent answered yet, but probably 2 months ago a similar thing happened to me, a number kept ringing constantly and I ended up answering it coz I had applied for a new job and it was some guy giving me a spiel about doing a course, I figured it was coz I was looking up courses to do with animals online, but I was just researching I was working full time and wasnt seriously considering it yet, just trying to see what options there was, so when he started going on about doing a course i was trying to explain im not interested, and then he was really pushy and making me feel like i have no direction in life, and saying I should do a business course and all these other random courses trying to make them involve animals, like saying if i had a business degree i could open a animal place and all this stuff, yet he didnt have a actual animal course or anything like i was looking into, and I was like...i have no interest in business.  Really made me mad!! This week i have started getting constant calls from the number 0291883647 and reading the comments here it sounds like the same place, no idea how they got my number either!
I wish i could remember where that guy said he was from so i could complain about how pushy he was! lol

Have a missed call from this numner many timea and they say they are ieducate..?

I answered aswell let them talk for a bit and then i said look ive already enrolled with someine they wanted to know what tafe and everything i didnt tell them anything of course.

I keep getting calls from them to, said they were from 'oneshift' trying to sign me up to management courses. i have been called by them several times in the last twelve months so irritating

Did they mention anything about being from 'oneshift' or being affiliated with them? I have had a lot of trouble with them and got a call today from the number you quoted 91883647

i just got a call from this number when i answered it they hung up so i realled them and this what i got  "they are saying its link application thank u for returnning our someone will be with u sortly" yet no one answered but hung up again

I got their call today. They are calling from some sources of school. I said I'm working now, don't think I'm eligible for governrment funding. They hung up on me. Blocked that number.

Got a call 10 mins ago. Knew my name and spoke to a female who said she acquired my details because I had signed to an agency perhaps online? Couldn't tell me exactly. I reied that I signed to a few agencies so it would be helpful to clarify who. Told her to call me back in 45mins as I'm unconvinced and now I see this thread I will block

just got a phone call from this number. i answered unwillingly and there was a beep like i was being recorded or something. he then said something that i couldn't understand with his muffled voice and bad line. he then went on about some government funding and degrees. i said sorry who is this, blah blah couldn't hear anything and i said sorry I'm actually already studying and he asked where, silly me said where i was studying and it caught him so off guard i knew something wasn't right. he wasn't professional in the way he spoke, he said oh well i don't think we can help you then goodluck with your studies or something.

Returned missed call. "Hi you've reached Link Education, thank you for returning our call. Someone will be with you shortly." Waited about 20 seconds and then computerised message said "No one available to take your call."

Been getting that number calling me.  I don't answer it for i didnt know who it was n reading  your posts sounds suss. Sick of havin em calling my mobile..

Got a call, answered it, heard a beep so I didnt say anything, then I heard a guy say "hello?", but by the time I could even reply, he hung up. Called back and got a weird answering machine voice. Hung up, Scam!

Have had this number trying to call me on a number of occasions, answered it once and now they won't stop calling, I just reject it
