Action Fraud is not a company.  It is a division of City of London Police which deals with frauds and scams.  Do report to them if you need to as they are very helpful.

ratnam sritharan from london cheated that he is having a company supermarket in australi and he need 40 people  so we have 70000 pounds in his account.now he say i have to 4000 pounds on my previous buisness deal so only i cheated in a tricky way and he had sent me mail if you call london police they cant take any action against me.please help us to get back the money from ratnam sritharan as he is cheating so many people in india by ways of jobs arranging

If you have been cheated please contact your own local Police.     If they need assistance from another Country they will arrange to obtain it.

Received 8 calls from 001325260649.  I did not answer them because I was made aware by a TalkTalk friend that the caller was bogus and wanted my friend to switch on their computer as there was a fault with router.  My friend told them to go to hell and put the phone down on the caller.

I reived a call on wednesday the 12th of july regarding a call which was a scam and I lost £200 they claimed they represented the bank of England

This number belongs to the UK fraud police. Look up the police.uk Action Fraud website. This is the number to call if you are hit with a scam and lost money. Report to the police only after you report the loss to your bank's fraud department.

Calls to this number are not free. Unless you need to speak to the police for advice, you can just complete the victim report form online via the Action Fraud website

It seems from the posts here that this is a number for making reports.  Would you be getting calls from this number? Something to look into further.

I would be careful about incoming calls that show this number on Caller ID. Scammers love to spoof legit numbers as a cover for Phishing scams.
