Purporting to be from HMRC

They've been calling me multiple times a day. It's a robotic voice claiming I've been caught doing tax fraud, and that I need to press 1 to continue. Failing to do so will result in them immediately issuing a warrant on me.

The number that comes up is HMRC number, it is spoofed. It is a scam, and not HMRC themselves. As HMRC note on gov.uk these calls are bogus, and HMRC will never phone you:

Had a phone call this weekend and this number (HMRC) showed on my phone. My old skool Caller Display showed the impossible 60143642801 which is linked on whocallsme to "HMRC" scams. I bet HMRC never ring you without leaving a message and maybe not at weekends. Beware, you can't trust your phone display!
