I've had a couple of calls from this number in the last 2 days.My phone is showed 'potential fraud' as it rang yesterday and, as it rang today, 'reported as fraud'.
I did get a message left yesterday by someone who said they were from the NHS ringing about my child's flu vaccination. My offspring are both adults, and their medical care is not my right to know about, so I wasn't sure if was a wrong number or scam. However, I have the flu jab each year (had it back in October) so not sure if this has any validity or not.
I've looked it up and many parents have had this call- which apparently is asking for their child's full name and DOB. Many say it seemed 'weird' and no one is sure if it's a scam or not. Even people they've asked seem unsure.

UPDATE: Someone on a forum posted this link and says it's genuine. Decide for yourselves, I guess.

This  person wanted to confirm my address and dob to confirm i was in the system for a vaccination,I told her I was already booked but she was incistant that I need to confirm address and dob before I got to the centre to speed things along.I declined and she said she would ring me again at the end of the week

Very plausible sounding well-spoken woman's voice claiming to be from the NHS re flu jab. "Wanted to ask a few questions" so ended call.

Call today stating NHS Flu vaccination line. I had my vaccination months ago. Wanted me to give details to verify who I was so said no and ended the call. Rang my GP and they knew nothing about this NHS line.

Said they were from the NHS phoning about my flu jab which I had weeks ago. I was suspicious straight away & very cagey with the caller. He asked for my DOB for security purposes so I said no & that I didn’t like being contacted for a phishing scam.  He said no worries & directed me to the NHS website for more information. Definitely didn’t feel right

He wanted me to go through their security questions. Who in their right mind would confirm personal details to somebody they don't know or have never heard of phoned them? They could be ANYBODY, ANYWHERE.

He claimed to be from: NHS Immunisation Management Service. About my flu vaccination this winter.

Procedural in the way the call is crafted, was I willing to answer questions or end the call there. Would I accept the call would be recorded.

A scammer would seek to offer you something to gain your trust; here offering you control, when in fact you have not been given anything.
