Got a call from this number but my CM Security apps highlighted this as a fraud. So I did not answer.

Pada pukul 2:49PM, saya dapat call dari 03-20591888 (spoofed Maybank Investment Bank Berhad number) dan machine voice bagitahu pinjaman peribadi saya dah 3 bulan overdue dan tekan 9 untuk bercakap dengan khidmat pelanggan.
Saya tekan 9, "Suhaimi bin Ismail" dari "Menara Maybank KL" jawab beri maklumat pinjaman peribadi saya. Beliau sambungkan saya ke IPK Pulau Pinang untuk saya buat report. Saya pun buatlah report atas talian dengan seorang yang bercakap gaya mamak.
Pada pukul 3:07PM, saya dapat call dari 04-2221522 (spoofed IPK Pulau Pinang number).
"Sarjan Wong" ambil keterangan saya dan selepas itu bagitahu beliau nak check rekod jenayah saya. Selepas beliau check melalui speakerphone, beliau kata akaun semasa atas nama saya terlibat dengan penggelapan wang dan pengedaran dadah oleh Lim Wei Siang.
"Sarjan Wong" mula meninggikan suara bertanyakan beberapa kali apa hubungan saya dengan Lim Wei Siang.
Saya kata saya akan pergi buat laporan polis di balai polis berdekatan berkenaan semua ini dan saya tamatkan panggilan.

konon "Maybank" call kata dah terlebih bayar, tekan 9 untuk cakap dengan pegawai perkhidmatan pelanggan. Baru 8.40 pagi, Maybank dah rajin call customer? pelik tu!

Yup same number today, same false created fact from a voice machine linked to suspicious officer's voice so i hung up. They are just trying to 'fish' for personal information i guess. Watch out everyone especially your elderly.

Just received a call from this number. Automated voice mail saying that I have outstanding payment of RM2000+ . I pressed 9 to speak to the person. That person said I have loan with MBB with the following details:

Loan applied: 2/1/2017
Loan approved: 9/1/2017
Branch: Maybank Penang Road, Komtar
Account number: 499856015447

He even knows my full name and IC number and also my old home address. I was so surprised. He asked me to lodged police report with IPK Penang. He even give his name and staff ID (Mohd Azam bin Abu Bakar, MBB1077) to make the report. He connected me to the police and I spoke with another man. His introduced himself as Sarjan Yew Min Ho. He asked me to come to IPK Penang to lodged physical report. I told him that is impossible because I'm not in Penang. He said, then he will call me to lodge report via phone call. Here's where I became suspicious. I hang up and google this number. Turn out it is really scam. I even call 03-2059-1888 to reconfirm. Maybank Investment confirmed it is a scam. Beware, people.

Suara mcm mesin..kata sy ada tunggakan loan jumlah RM2250..utk bercakap dgn pegawai khidmat pelanggan kami sila tekan 9..i just hung up..scammer..

machine answered telling got outstanding....lol...now scammer can afford to buy machine....must be very UNTUNG for them ....

ppl say they using IP phone....not sure how they can hack Maybank Investment phone no....

Received phone call from 20591888 claiming to be from Maybank. It's a recording voice claiming that i have "pinjaman peribadi tertunggak " . It's a scam as i do not have any loan as such

TOTAL SCAM! Just hang up.

Just had that call from 03 20591888 for outstanding loan 30k direct me to this number 04 2221522 (IPD Georgetown- as claimed) whom a chinese man introduce himself as Sjn Yew Nin Ho. He called again which I ignored. So beware all of this scam.

Just received a call from this number claimed that I have a personal loan (which I don't have any) and mention the same thing, outstanding amount of RM2K for 3 month. The auto telemarketer ask me to press 9 for further clarification.  I hung up immediately because it is clearly a new scammer tactics. Beware guys...

TOTAL PRO SCAM JOB!!!!!!!!

Today at 3:47pm, same story as above.. from same number 03-2059-1888 (Maybank Investment spoofed number).. got thru to machine saying I have outstanding 3 payments on my personal loan with total RM2025 outstanding, press 9 to speak to a customer service agent.  So I press 9, and person identified himself as Lim Kok Soon, I asked him about this loan, after verifying this is indeed me, pretty much exactly like how Maybank would do it, he told me that there is a RM30,000 personal loan  which apparently I applied on 2 Jan 2017 and approved on 7 Jan 2017, application made at Maybank Penang Road Comtar. I said it definitely wasn't me, so he said if it isn't I should make a report with Penang police and he will gladly transfer me there.  After transferring me to Penang police, I spoke to a Sarjan Mardin (very convincing police voice) who took my details, then he asks if I have any record with police and says he needs to verify my record.  He puts me on speaker and he walkie-talkie another police somewhere to check my "criminal back ground".  Tells me that my name has come up in a massive money laundering scheme involving RM670,000 and 16kg drug transaction under a CIMB account in my name.  They said another suspect has been arrested by name of Lim Wei Siang a Maybank employee found with 200+ ic's one of which is mine and he did all this activity using a CIMB account under my name and this Lim has accused me of being the mastermind. He asked if I have given any copies of my ic to anybody or if I have lost my ic recently, I said no.  He said this is a pending undercover investigation, because it seems there are more Maybank employees involved in the scam so I cannot discuss information with the case with anybody because I will expose their months undercover work and I can be taken to court and sentenced up to 5 months jail if found guilty. He tells me I need to come to balai in Penang to make a report, when I said I can't I'm in Selangor, he said he will call me back and take a statement via voice recording and everything I say may be used in a court so to make sure I answer thruthfully. I hang up and call Maybank for verification, but before I was able to speak to anybody, I get a call back from +6042221522 (penang police spoofed number), while he is taking my "recorded statement" he then tells me I need to inform him which of my accounts is legit because they need to freeze all my assets and account. At this point I become very suspicious, so I play along and drive myself to the nearest police station, put the phone on mute and explained the situation to the police there, they immediately told me it was a con. I passed the phone to the police officer, and of course they hang up.

These guys are total Pros!! Very convincing acting.  I can't believe I fell for it! Please tell as many people as you can.  As you can see these guys use the same MO so many times in a day before they get too exposed, so they are definitely getting victims! These guys are the SCUM of the earth!
