The community is advised to ignore posts by this person as he/she posts the same message for all calls without any verifiable evidence.  While the calls may be scam or spam they may also be legitimate calls, wrong numbers, private callers, etc.  The point is, this person provides no reason for the conclusion.  You may miss an important call if you rely solely on these posts.

Getting harassed by this number daily. Scammers are hijacking financial institution numbers to commit fraud. After having gone through 9 fraud cases recently, best advise is to install caller id like truecaller and block the number. If ever in doubt, just check back directly with official institution support lines to verify authenticity. Block first, worry later. Prevention is better than cure.

Answer and said call from HSBC, but busy at the moment. Not sure is it HSBC or not

Notice that the moment I use my HSBC credit card, either phone call will start coming in or receiving SMS and Wats App from unfamiliar mobile phone number promoting unlicensed money lending services and offers.  I'm very certain as I already tracked my own credit card usage past 20 years. So long as the credit card balances is Zero, no calls or texts will be in. The moment I swiped my card, phone calls and text will start coming in. I have reported this matter to HSBC multiple times, still the same. Probably HSBC IT Department and people working in HSBC that has access to customer details are selling off their customer's data. With AI and Software technology nowadays, nothing surprises me that all these features can be triggered to ease the scammer and fraudulent activity to be conducted. The usual number always mimicking the 4 digits number that are the same as HSBC call center or contact example +03-8321 xxxx, +03-2059 xxxx,  +03-8894 xxxx, +03-2050 xxxx, +03-2690 xxxx, +03-2075 xxxx and +03-8800 xxxx. Not being racist, those callers insisting on talking in Mandarin despite informing them I can't speak mandarin. I'm fully aware of those Scam and Fraudulent awareness campaign conducted by Bank Negara and etc, just shared my experience and verified information here so that anyone who read my message here somehow or whenever in the future, such similar situation happened to them, with a hope that it reminds them to JUST HANG UP, BLOCK, REPORT and SHARE IT (Whocallsme.com to help others).

Called me 12 times in total since yesterday and today with the same recording msg then passed to a scam operator.
