After canceling my cc,they call me to make offer,to refund the annual & gov tax fees(650) and waive the annual fees on yearly basis if i'm maintain the card.They were happy charging me the annual fees before the this.WTF!!!

received call requesting my date of birth for verification. Why need such verification. Cant they view back on the system?!

Yes got the same call asking for my IC number! Saying they needed to verify whether they are talking to me....gosh...who is the ones calling. Hope anyone frm citibank can confirm if this procedure is correct!

Afraid someone else might answer on behalf of you then they wouldnt disclosed what they are about to say.

Just receive a call from 03-2383 1000 and say that i have no pay my credit card almost 3 month, i said did you call the wrong number? But he say no and can spell out my full name and IC...??????? i say impossible then he say " i remind u that u no pay in 3 month already, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?????" i say why u talk to me like this? he said: " Wat why i answer u like this now is u no pay the payment then i remind u, OKAY!!!!!!".... WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF i can show u statement that i pay my credit card every month and i dun have any delay or BLACK LIST in your account. [***]... wat kind of this services.

i was told that i owed around rm5k for credit card usage, which by the way is not even my credit card.

Got a call from so called Citibank asking for verification on my date of birth. Hello, they are the one who called me and then asked me for verification. It is not me who called them up that they needed to know & verify that I am the actual person who I claim to be. Anyway, called up Citibank KL and was informed that this is their way of doing things. With advanced technology & Caller ID spoofing, it is better safe than sorry. It is not that Citibank will refund us if we lose money because we are careless by giving out details to scammers & cheaters.

They call like there's no tomorrow even if you exceed credit limit of RM1.00
at least 20 calls per day

Me too! I got this number twice... n before after work 7pm, 0320544680.... i trace this number both citibnk. I didn't answer.... if ctibank have any problem, pls fax/email/letter regarding so n so... annoying!!

I receive the same call but I counter check with BNM direct line and they said it's Macau Scam. BNM remind me if I pass any bank related information to the scam and made a police report. These scammers possible to create an online social media account using your particulars to scam other online buyers.

EXACTLY! It is not us that calls them, and yes they need to verify that..  But it is them who calls us..  I told them, if this is about my credit card, I pay on time! So, about what now? Then they off the hook!
