Streamyx Upgrading Department

Today, June-5, 2012 (Tue), I received a missed call from 0326015400 as well while I was talking to Celcom careline. Also another number called me from 0327315700 yesterday, June-4, 2012 (Mon). Both of them calling at the same hour, i.e. 11:30am to 12noon.

Indeed it sounded fishy when I cannot call back these numbers.

This forum post should continues to help others who is searching for unknown fixed line number from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Previous posts say its Streamyx or TM department, it it possible as I just sign up for Streamyx Upgrade where promotion only valid from June 1-30

8.59am morning,also got that miss call,I know but dont wan answer,after very soon my house phone also ring then stop , I try call back .. Is nOn conection... So weird ... Which department know my private number ?n what they want ?

this number call me several times. its disturbing. is there any action taken seems that people have made some report rite?

got calls from this number many time, but not dare to answer me once i picked up the call,  shame on you.

A web check seems to indicate they are from VADS Malaysia, a TM subsidiary based in Plaze IBM in Taman Tun, but I cannot confirm.

One call asking me to upgrade my TMNet Streamyx service, but I do not have a Streamyx account. They immediately hang up. But still been receving intermittent calls from the same numbers, but no answer when pick up.

Base on what I deduced, it most likely CALL FRAUDSTERS using VOIP (Internet phone) testing our mobile numbers to see whether still in use. If you have previously given them any info (Banking or Internet account related), they are also trying to get more info from us, probably TO HACK your Internet banking login or other online services. BE VERY CAREFUL.

[Your mobile numbers have been sold by unknown parties to web marketers. So you should be aware  whenever you put down you contact number on any registration form, contests etc.]

Ms CHIN, chinese sounding lady. [I can confirm this is a Fraudster]
Another non-native Malay speaking lady, sound like Sabahan.

DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING, ask them for a number to call them back if you really interested.

Daily i am receiving a call from 03-2601 5400 or 03-2601 6400; when i tried to accept the call, i am not hearing anything. if i tried to that number always busy; could you please help me to know the full details of the above number? Thanks

almost 2 week i ve been receiving ths crazy phone calls from this num...when i answered no voice n immediately hang up..when i called back ths no..none connection..i called tm n tm advised me to make police report...
