same here. i got a missed call from this no. too. few days before received the sms about TM account that i never have at all. definitely a fraud, and i dont bother to return the call back.

Receive few msg that claiming I have an outstanding amount with TM account that I never had before.

Is it legit? or scam? Thanks!

dapat call no nie suruh bayar padahal aku baru je bayar bape minggu sebelum tu. bila aku tnya bill bulan berapa, tergagap-gagap nak jawap. Jadi abaikan je no nie. Scammers dimana-mana

I received a SMS message ask me to call this number 0327278698 as TM's ppl will visit my house to do evaluation as I have owed them money. This has to be a scam.. The message sent by a handphone number 0126508860.

I called this 0327278698 because got number text me to call this number.. when i call,they even ask me "u nak cari siape,u telefon berkenaan ape" .. hello???? customer service talk to customer like that meh? Use u and i when talk to customer?? Totally Scammer!!!!

received the same text message this morning from hp number 016-3694067 to call 03-27278698 claiming from TM. Returned call but no answer. I left a message .... MAU TIPU LU CARI ORANG LAIN LAAAAA.

fraud, called tm and tm say i not has any outstanding bill... threatens to send lawyer

yea, i missed many calls from an unknown number before i received a msg saying that they r going to send a lawyer letter. but the phone no and the law firm doesnt match when i checked online.definitely scammer....

I dont have any debt with TM, this is the scam, pls be aware

Received an SMS asking me to call this number regarding my TM outstanding. However, there is a notice in TM website:

TM would also like to caution the public that there is an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) call that claims to be from TM or its collection agencies notifying customers that they have outstanding TM bills.

TM has also received reports of customers receiving emails, phone calls and text messages on the outstanding TM bills, requesting them to pay to a specific third party account number.

TM wishes to highlight that these credit management procedures with such modus operandi are fraudulent scams and are not from TM.

While it is common practice for service providers to send reminders for outstanding payments via emails, phone calls and/or text messages, we strongly advice customers to verify the outstanding amount by checking their bill online, bill received or by contacting us at 100 for TM Fixed Line or Streamyx bills or at 1-300-88-1221 for UniFi bills. Customers can also walk in to the nearest TMpoint outlet or email us at help@tm.com.my or unifi@tm.com.my.

NEVER transfer money to personal accounts or companies that claim to act on behalf or are representatives of TM. TM does not accept payment for services in this manner.

Payment for TM services can only be made directly to TM via bill payment facilities and not through personal accounts or companies that claim to represent TM. For the list of authorised TM payment channels, click here.

Therefore, TM urges all its customers to be mindful and cautious if ever they receive such calls or messages.

So, check with TM and if you do have outstanding then pay to TM directly and deal directly at TM.

i received the same msg as the previous commentor from this number 016-2391875:

as far as i know, i've made all my payments to TM years ago, and i've stopped using TM.
