Rhb Bank Collector agent

This number has threatening me that they will send bankcruptsy notis if i cant pay. They push me to pay double from the original installment value.

This number has threatening to closed all my saving & current account. Cant ask anything because they using voice machice.

You can make a police report that they are threatening you, or report to bank negara.
If the agent call you again, ask for his FULL NAME, which Collection Agency he's from.
Tell him you will need to contact RHB directly to verify before dealing with him/her.
With the information, make a police report and complaint to bank negara.

Same as me. This debt was my late husband's credit card. Since, he is no more they chase me. Stupid. Told them to dig his grave. Keep on threaten me with bankruptcy and yet I checked with Bank Negara, my name is clear from Ctos and Criss. In the end told them, just send me the legal letter. Til now not arrived but still calling. Weird, if got bankruptcy then just proceed why do they have to keep calling and calling?

No they cant banckrupt you, they just fu**ing debt collector

Same thing happened to me. I received sms and calls from varies hp number and threatened me that they will file up summon,bancruptcy as well as to freeze my accounts.

Same thing here. Threatening to closed down all accounts and declared bankruptcy. It's obviously a scam, don't trust them.

Got sms everyday threatening to wss and bankruptcy.ask me to call back if want to know the result for the judgement

Ive got this number calling me several time yet they sent me a message that my account will Be close. [***], i have never open any account with rhb. Then, they said my father (who i never met since i was a child) who actually have outstanding debt with rhb, so..wtf has to do with me? RHB is getting SANGKAK!!

They called me non stop every day to ask me to clear the amount was incurred 12 years ago (Long story short - ex-fiance died but it was my sub card so I should pay. I left the country (10years overseas). Just recently back and never able to apply Credit Card forgot about this case until recently) Principal owed amount was RM3.6K but right now close to RM70K. I do want to pay so I spent 3 weeks negotiating with them. They insisted that I pay RM10K to close the account which I told them there's no way I will do that. I went to RHB bank no one knew about my case and advice that I wait for the call again.

So I got help from a Lawyer friend, he specifically mentioned that due to the statute of limitation, if the bank wants to take action on your unpaid loan it has to happen within 6 years from your last payment received. At this moment (since it has been 12 years), the bank or debt collectors cannot go to your house, working place or submit bankruptcy to the bank (Min amount for bankruptcy is RM 30K and above). If they do, you can calmly get their name and company details (if they have documents take them with you too) take pictures of their presence at your premises then go to the police for a report. No need to argue just be civilized about it.

However, I do want to clear the debts for the amount used since I believe this is only fair to the bank as well. He advised me that until I am totally comfortable with the agreed amount then only I shall make the payment (with a written letter stating debts will be cleared and no further action can be taken) do not make any payment in between to activate back their claims on me. If I fall for that they might revive their right to harass me again.

I informed the guy Aznan that I want to negotiate the amount and he insisted that I made payment RM500 to activate the case first so he can apply leniency from the management which I never agreed on because of my lawyer's advice. He becomes more hostile and I told him that this conversation being recorded for any future prove reference that their side is being hostile the guy immediately slam the call. I didn't get any call anymore but I received SMS everyday without fail. So I totally blocked all the numbers related to this case. I intend clear the debts when I am ready (next few months) I can do better without all the harassment.

FYI -
a. My CTOS, CCRIS been cleared for years. Checked with Bank Negara also unable to trace anything (No bankrupt No Blacklist) but past 2 years unable to apply Credit card (rejected but no reason given). Only recently (Dec 2018), credit score back to healthy - Credit Card application approved and Car Loan approved too. (of course I applied different bank other than RHB)

b. The Limitation Act 1953, Section 6 states:
“Save as hereinafter provided the following actions shall not be brought after the expiration of six years from the date of which the cause of action accrued, that is to say actions founded on a contract or on tort, actions to enforce a recognisance, actions to enforce an award and actions to recover any sum recoverable by virtue of any written law other than a penalty or forfeiture or of a sum by way of penalty or forfeiture.”
