Keep getting calls from a 4 digit telephone number (0331) with Asian operators, claiming to be calling from Global Telecom. Has anybody else had this??? Does anyone know where 0331 comes from???

I got this number 0331 asking me if they were speaking to Mrs Smith (my name) when  I asked who was calling they said it was Prudential, who I do not use for anything. So I left the phone on the side and without sayi8ng anything else ignored it until they gave up.

had 2 calls, from 0000 and 0331, asking were do u live and whats your name,
i said were do you live and whats your name, he said , ok buy, and put phone down,
bt ,virgin ect cant do nothing about it, so thay say?

its from a Pakistani operator and one should immediately report all such calls and numbers to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (http://www.pta.gov.pk/) in written.

KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM 033171430150. ALSO 033171430100. SOMETIMES NOTHING IS SAID AND SOMETIMES A MAN SAYS HELLO AND THEN HANGS UP.

0331-15743021 this is number of ufone,,,and some one give me missed calls,,,plz tell me,,,,,what kind of number is this?

Have had this number call few times recently,  last time being a few minutes ago ( Wednesday August 3rd,2011) at 4.16pm.      No one at other end and then after I have said hello a few times it goes dead.   My number has been registered for a long while now with the Telephone Preference Service to prevent nuisance calls but still I have to put up with no end of annoying rubbish calls.  Is it really a case that nothing at all can be done about this by the powers-that-be????
