Pestering a pensioner they have the wrong number.

Bloody pests keep calling on a different number as fast as I block one. Always the same message 'Miss Sarah-Jayne Grey, it is important that we speak to you today. Call Lowell on 03335565570 quoting ref 248791451.' I'm male and have never met a Sarah-Jayne Grey. I'm certainly not going to call them back, as for all I know it might be a premium rate number. I have tried pressing '2' to say I'm not SJG but the auto message says reply not recognised. I shall keep blocking till they run out of numbers!!

One of several firms calling for a 'Mrs Lynn Allen' - who does not and has never lived at my address nor had my phone number that I know of.  I have told them all to remove me from their caller base, but they still call.  Several 'banks', several 'agencies' and several numbers, all asking for Mrs Lynn Allen.  If I ever find this woman is real, I'm gonna throttle her!

Yes , Deffo   Lowells,,, debt collection for many company's , fxxxxx dicks,,, just tell them you have " A Debt relief order being put into place" by CAB, if they ask any reference number, say they will receive it soon enough from CAB, and say Thanks for your Courtesy call ( taking pixx ) Goodbye !! And put phone down , also worth getting a Caller Display phone , or if your home number ain't imperative, tell your phone Co you are getting nuisance calls, and ask for a change , hope this helps....

they keep calling my landline (which diverts all calls to voicemail anyway since talktalk hacked and i get non stop scammers and talktalk wont change my number, cant wait to switch companies and number)

anyway, this number keeps calling with a robot leaving a voicemail message (left 2 voicemails today already) for a malcom mcnickels to ring a number quote a long ref number or face legal action.

DOWNSIDE is i cant ring for them to stop calling to say wrong number as for "security reasons" only the person and ref can actually notify them.. HOW STUPID! getting fed up of these voicemails. (at least the talktalk scammers never leave a message)

This caller auto mated for three days for some other person, my friend is a hacker and we are going to get them!!!!!!!!!

Lowell so called debt collectors ,have collected phone numbers from some source or other .They act as a SCAM operation you may not have a debt but I assume they may well create one. They only have a phone number,the UK LAW states that you have to be informed in writing. The reason they cannot do this is they don't have your address or probably not even your name. This why they never leave a message. Total bunch of NASTIES DO NOT ENGAGE with .Never reveal your identity or address .

To stop calls like this they are a pain in the butt.

Very harassing debt caller - I have the number blocked but I can still see how many calls they're making to my mobile phone, and they try several times a week 😠

Hi. I expect you probably don't have the problem anymore, but I've just read your post as I'm looking these people up after receiving my first contact from them myself, and I suspect the answer in your case is that the new number you were given for your new home used to be from another address. In this case, miss davenport's address before that number got disconnected or changed, and then given to you. I suspect this because I've just had the same thing happen with a new mobile number, that I've only given out to 3 friends, & I've learned from elsewhere that the turnaround for re-using a number is horribly fast. I hope that eases your confusion & concerns, I empathised when I read your comments.

Keep getting bombarded at all hours form this number asking for Mrs Tracy Cheshire to call back . No One of that name has ever lived at this address as we have lived in the house since it was built. I have rang them twice and been assured my number will be removed from their database but nothing changes . Disgusting organisation !!
