- SteveE.ON, I just used this number to call their customer services. I got the number from my latest bill.
- Caller: E.ON
- Philip| 1 replyIt is EON Customer Service yes, electricity utility company. They have recently changed to this from the previous 0845 number.
Note if you call this number back it is NOT free - it's classed as 'Special Service' example from my BT Bill, one call cost me 0.48p for 1 hr 3 min (much of which was spent waiting on hold and in auto attendant layer messages...) Ask them to call you back if you have a lengthy issue to deal with.- Caller: EON
- jimbob replies to PhilipThat is cheap I had to call the thieving [***] EON on this number not thinking how much it would cost and yes for a 20 min call it cast £1.91 and like it was said earlier most of that time was kept hanging on, and they had the cheek to call Ronny Biggs a thief.
- kerplonkEon leeches ... charged me £1:80 put on hold for 19 minutes, never got to speak to a human being, scumbag service
- Caller: EON Electricity
- DeniseEon passed on to various recorded messages -press 1 for this, 2 for that or wait to be cut off for no apparent reason!!!!! Carged 52p - re-dialled then charged £1.51 - SORT IT OUT PLEASE??
- Caller: EON
- maryE on sent me a customer notice saying no one lived at this address they had the wrong house I phoned to explain this and got thanked by being charged £1-50 what a cheek
- Caller: E on
- June RushmoreCharged me £8.45 for call to Customer Services for a call lasting just under 1 hour 7 minutes. An Hour was spent on hold. No facility to request a callback. To add insult to injury it was about a ridiculous incorrect bill sent out by EON. Needless to say I have changed supplier.
- Marcel. PIf this was the US it would be "Toll Free" but as this is a "PRIVATISED" UK utility company (designed to foster competition and lower prices) but doing the opposite I wonder why you are complaining- get a life and complain to your MP if you can find him/her in the Commons Bar.
- Caller: E.On
- Stephen B.£2.96 for a 20:31 min. call which was necessitated by my trying to get them to honour their now defunct Rewards loyalty points scheme. The scheme has finished, but Reward points are still redeemable from all their supplier partners except for Tesco. The agent I eventually spoke to (a polite and otherwise helpful trainee) would not accept this (even though I quoted to him verbatim what was written (and recently updated) on their Website) and kept me on hold whilst checking with other colleagues who, unfortunately, were both of the same opinion as him in that their 'script' informed them that the scheme was totally dead. Only when I insisted that I speak to a Supervisor was I informed that I was correct and that they would be sending me the remainder of the loyalty Reward points that I was owed (these have since been received).
Hitherto loyal e-on customers (13+ years in my case) should not be charged for attempting to claim what is rightly and contractually theirs. However, much of the blame has also to be apportioned to BT. Simply specifying "Special Svce" on an itemised monthly bill is not good enough, especially when the telephone number shown is not the same as the one which was dialled. IMHO, e-on should indicate clearly on both its bills and its Website that there is a charge for using the complaints line, and BT should provide either a recorded message when a number is being automatically transferred from a free or cheap-rate line to a higher expense line.
Shame on them both, and shame on the Government for not putting a stop to it!- Caller: I called e-on

- hakuhad phone call from this number to my restaurant today asking for someone who doesnt even work here. they told me they are calling from a registry office as someone by the name of hussain munjur has registered a new business so they need to send out the contract. the owner of the restaurant didnt have any idea or clue who they were. the english was not good and also very rude. they called after office working hours as well. so am not too sure if this is a scam or something else.
