Possibly Direct Line after getting a quote not 10 minutes ago, searching the number there site comes up along with this one, out of only two results being returned.

I also obtained a quote from Direct Line a few minutes before receiving a call from this number (no voicemail left).  Seems like clicking the box to select "don't call me" makes no difference.

It's Direct Line - I just moved my car insurance to another provider from Direct Line and they called me up.

This Number ( 03452466410 ) belongs to Direct Line Insurance ! Nothing to worry about. It could be because your renewal is coming up, or you had an accident & you are about to lose your no claims by a certain percentage.

Supposedly an outbound call from a Direct Line call centre - although - the number is not listed anywhere on Direct Line’s website. Reports online suggest the number could be Direct Line Home Insurance or Direct Line Car Insurance - but - it’s unclear regarding which section. On ringing back the number, a pre-recorded male voice is unclear about any reason/any dept. for the mystery call too.

So I rang Direct Line’s Car Insurance section. No trace was found in their notes of anyone having called me. Spoke to Direct Line’s Home Insurance section too. No trace in their notes neither - plus they searched for the number. It did not list in their database.

I got told that scam numbers may appear similar to real ones - so to ignore any future calls from this number.

have received 2 calls today from this number I too obtained a quote but spoke to someone it was not on line, though insurance is up for renewal.  Ran number through a number of sites which identified Direct Line.  Called number from landline only got an answer service.  So rang Direct Line operator assured me that this was not a number they used.
