- HarryTOSSING BANSTANDS ...who ever this is ... Repeatedly called at 2.07am, 2.09am, 2.11am ... until I am awoken, panicking, racing downstairs, heart-pounding that a caller that persistent must be family ... some appalling bad news about my kids
Checked msgs - the PIN number request thing mentioned in other posts... replace the hand set - 2.15am - and the phone starts ringing again. Pulled the plug out of the wall...
Anyone starting a Class Action against Lloyds, - if it is Lloyds - sign me up! - CrabGenuine call from Lloyds Bank providing a security feature in response to setting up a new payment arrangement. If it is from someone else, it is a scam.

- JHIt absolutely 100% is Lloyds Bank Internet banking calling. For example, in instances where you have forgotten your password or have set up a new payee. Their system calls you automatically so you can key in the code displayed on your screen to verify it is you making the request. I can say this with confidence as I spoke to their help desk today and they confirmed this number plus 0345 6015450 are the two numbers they use to call from for Internet banking verification. (For an unknown reason and unbeknown to us, our BT Caller Protect had started blocking this number, hence my call to Lloyds to find out why we were not receiving calls from them.)

- Ant replies to JayneMessage about my Lloyds bank account and my latest transaction. Slight problem I've never banked with Lloyds bank! Defo scam!
- Dave PistoffNot sure as batteries ran out on landline. But I did make a new payment. The bank sent a 4 digit code to key into phone to authorise.
- SteveCalled me on my Landline and asked me to key in the 4 digit number on my screen!! - My answer machine started and it said the code wasn't correct - Whilst trying to block the number it rang me two more times - Finally blocked on the Landline - Called the number on my mobile, automated answer said it was Lloyds Internet Banking??? - I hadn't done any transactions on my account
