I didn't hear any ringing but my mobile logged call lasting 1m18s but was never answered and no message left as my mobile is set to not go to message centre.

This number called my landline three times in three minutes, starting at 19:58. I didn’t recognise it so let it go to voicemail. A recorded message (which seems to have already started) said: “...to the account number ending in 1427. After the beep please key in or say the 4 digit number displayed on your internet banking screen.”

www.zlookup.com shows the number as belonging to Halifax Mastercard so either someone has given them our number in error, perhaps mis-typed their own phone number, or someone at the Halifax has mis-dialled the number.

Pretty certain it is Lloyds Bank internet banking because we were having problems not receiving the automated verification calls from them for resetting a password or setting up a new payee.  We thought it was a fault with their system but it turned out our BT Caller Protect had started blocking their calls, so I asked the Lloyds help desk what numbers they make automated internet banking verification calls from and they said 0345 3002752 and this number.  (We received a call from 0345 3002752 after unblocking them.)

This number is the Halifax / Bank of Scotland Fraud number. I dialled an 0800 number but this number showed up on my landline as the number called. Definitely the Fraud Department.

Halifax automated call to confirm changes being made to a Halifax account.

I have just received 3 calls in quick succession from this number asking for my Halifax mobile banking 4 digit number. I do not have a Halifax account - beware!

Halifax Banking, My Wife got a call as security confirmation of the 1 off texted PIN while i was setting up another mobile phone for Halifax Banking App, this call was legitimate but that doesn't other calls where a CLONED phone number.

I'm not sure about this number. Rang 3 times I did not answer but logged as answered and recorded as  58 secs, 43sec and 69 sec calls
