I just received a call from this number at 5.47pm....

Bloody hell.. i also did received calls from this ass number this few days.. WTF is going on????

earlier in the morning, around 1007hrs...i got miscalled from this number, 03-74924700.
just now, 1407hrs i answered a call from 03-74917700.
the caller is a woman.

i listen carefully to what she said.
she claimed that she calling from Maxis.
she offered me to change from my prepaid Hotlink to postpaid Maxis.
to my surprise...she know the billing address of my previous Maxis postpaid.
i used to have a Maxis postpaid account couple of years back with the same current phone number.

she also know my Hotlink prepaid activity...such as on how much i top-up every month...and she use the info to lure me to change to Maxis postpaid.
the offered package comes in 2 credit limit.
one is RM30 credit limit and another one is RM50...too little for a postpaid i think!

then she asked me to read the billing address (which is my office address) in order for her to double check.
if i agree with the offer...i'll receive a new postpaid 3G simcard...send thru courier to the billing address.

i politely declined the offer and i said i'm comfortable with my Hotlink prepaid eventhough i've to top-up frequently.

what makes me curious was the phone number that she called from.
surely not from Maxis KLCC area because i assumed Maxis Customer Call Center located there.

then, i Googled this number and found so much entries about it!
and i found this website.

saya dapat panggilan no ni pagi n petang. tapi xsempat angkat. cal semula tapi operator jawab. tekan 1 tapi cut off! bengong orang 2 ar.

baru dpt call ni. lelaki melayu. bernama sidik, kata dr maxis promotion department. dia dpt baca jumlah wang yg sy bayar sebulan sebelum, nama penuh, birthday, tempat tinggal. tapi sy syaki, sbb maklumat ini blh dpt dr form yg pernah isi, bila sy tanya lebih dlm, kata tak nak promosi dia yg blh dpt extra sms dan call, dia putus begitu shj.

jangan tertipu, dia ada muslihat, kalau tak, kenapa nak tau no ic sy?kata konon nak dpt pengesahan dr sy, nombor ni sy punya, tentulah pemilik, sy baru nak dpt pengesahan kamu ini memang maxis ke tak?

Aku pun kena juga! Dia baling telephone tu! Berdesing telinga aku! Kalau aku dapat jumpa face to face! Dapat penumbuk free punyalah!

I oso received a call from tis no. yesterday. But i missed da call. When i called back, it was diverted to voice recording msg and hung up automatically when i pressed "1". Actually, fews months ago, I received a call fr maxis(tat fellow claimed so),saying tat im da lucky chosen 1, and offered me prefential if i can change my prepaid hotlink to postpaid maxis. Tat fellow sounnds quite rude for me so i didnt take da offer even though coincidentally i was thinking to change to postpaid maxis at tat time. But now i wonder y i received da call again cos i oredi converted my account to postpaid account for few months. I really think tat this is a SCAM phonecall!!! Anyone can tell me how to where to complain and report this case???

me too...i receive also...but this number call to my DiGi number twice...
call back and press 1 it auto cut off....

17-11-2009 @ 17:14 received missed call from +60374917700, tried to call back went to voice box and asked to press 1 for operator or 2 to end call. Press 1 the phone cut off. Please be warned of such calls and ignore it. You may fall into a trap. Nothing comes free.

Why i didn't receive this kinda weird call?? anybody!!
