Just received this call, claiming that MY MOTHER emailed them to upgrade Astro to PVR. Now, how I know it's a scam? Because my mother, God bless her, doesn't even know how to open her own email inbox.

And when I said, "No I don't think she did", the operator was freaking out because she knew I knew what she was up to. She stuttered and said, "Then how do we get an email from her?"

First of all, if my mom wanted the Astro upgrade, she wouldn't EMAIL them. A direct call or go to channel 200 would suffice? Knowing my mother, she'll definitely ask me to do it. Secondly, if my mom really emailed them, why did they call ME? Why can't they just call my mom's number for confirmation?

In conclusion, SCAM SCAM SCAM! Don't answer the phone, or if you enjoy fooling around with these [***], play along and pretend to be interested until you bust them out!

Hi! Just got miss called from this number.. I think this a scammer. Last 3 months my Bank account got hack. almost 2K my money gone with the wind.

I think it could be astro. Coz they really love to make such a sudden call. Not to bother, aint taking more channels or upgrading astro. If i wish to, i'll be directly go to the center.
