i got called from this number. ask my credi card was rejected. i think they buy our detail from those open account at shopping mall to get our detail and cheating to us.

14 Mac 2016, 9.04 pagi terima panggilan dari 0376268899, lelaki melayu kata saya ada guna kad kredit Hong Leong bank yang digunakan pada tahun 2015. Kad tersebut ada tunggakan rm5000.00 sejak 3 bulan atas pembelian seutas rantai emas di Poh Kong Damansara. Nama dan no kad pengenalan yang dia baca memang betul. Tapi saya tak pernah ada kad kredit HLB pada tahun berkenaan hingga sekarang. Poh Kong Damansara pun tak pernah jejak. Katanya kena jelaskan bayaran sebelum tengahari. Last sekali saya letak phone jea.

Terima panggilan dari nombor 03-7626 8899 hari ni dari Hong Leong bank. Beritahu ada transaksi luar biasa dari akaun bank. Officer bank tawarkan sambung ke IPK KL untuk buat laporan polis. Guna nombor talian polis untuk dakwa ada kaitan dengan akaun penjenayah dan minta pindahkan wang ke akaun sementara untuk periksa status wang dari akaun simpanan bebas dari wang haram. Dah buat laporan polis dan diberitahu cubaan tipu secara terancang.

about 4.20pm (6.1.2017) called from a guy and claimed that he was Hong Leong Bank and said got credit card RM12000 was outstanding. if fact, I don't hv credit card.

Received call frm this no tgh td. MO yg sama, kata ada transaksi luar biasa dr acc HLB (wpun sy tiada HLB acc). Dia boleh sambung ke hotline polis tp sy refuse sbb nk lapor sendiri di balai. Bila sy minta  dia email details, terus dia hang up.Kena sergah dia, jgn takut2 sbb bank jarang call.

scammer!!!! its genuine hong leong bank no. but misused by scammers!!

got a call from 03-76268899, say from hong leong bank, say  checking am I xfer money from HLB to MBB 4 time , 1 time 10k, if not they want to take back

诈骗电话！
今天我接到一个诈骗电话，对方自称是XX银行打来的，说有人转账十五千进你的户口要跟你确定下，我说不知道，而且我没在XX地方XX银行开过户口，可怕的是对方还念出我的IC号码既然是对的。当时我还是说没这个户口。对法便说是我的个人资料被人盗用开户口洗黑钱，要我赶紧报警，我说好，你把资料给我，我在我当地的警察局报警，他说不行，你必须在他的地方报警应为是在他的地方发生的，他可以马上帮我转过去他的警局。还好当时我够镇定，我说会自己调查清楚后再跟他联系就把他挂了。对方还给了我电话号码：03-76268899. 大家小心咯！

Very weird call,looks like scammer, cannot  call my name properly,beware.

He asked about transaction with HL .I do not have any acc with HLBank  so I hung up the phone.Beware and don't reveal any personal information

Just got a call,stating that they're from Hong Leong Bank and I have 3 months unpaid loan or some [***].
I dont even have a Hong Leong acc, so its definitely a scammer.

This thing has been going on for years and could happen to anyone.

I got a call from that nunber. At first the machine voice mentioned i had 3 months due and have to pay 7k of my personal loan. Then i press 0 to talk to representetive. A chinese guy received and confirm of my name n ic correctly. I said i never made a loan. When i ask him about the so call loan, he asked if i have issues with the loan make a police report in other state. When i say i want to make police report nearby he just hang up.

Just got a call from Hong Leong scammer. Last two week i got a call from maybank scammer also. Poor Malaysian.

2 times this number called me. The first time when I pressed 0 - a warning saying that I should be careful about number being abused. 2nd time, tadi. Katanya ada hutang dgn Hong Leong Bank RM7k. I jawab dah bayar bulan lepas 8k, dan Hong Leong now hutang dgn I 1K. I should press him to pay back my 1k. But I've another meeting to attend, so hv to hang up - before telling him off to stop scam ppl. Maybe next time. :D

received the same call from this number, claimed from hong leong and i got personal loan debt 3K for 3 months. Never deal with Hong Leong. I push 9 and spoke to Kenny . Then want to ask more , suddenly  he hang up

today ive receive an automated voice msg from Hong Leong Bank informing me that ive an outstanding of 3K and if i wish to know more about the outstanding amount im asked to press certain no (which i didn't). to my surprise when i googled it was indeed a valid Hong Leong Bank tel no but a further check with the bank officers i was told i did not have any outstanding with them.

Received an automatic voice caller saying I've 3k outstanding loan but I never have any personal loan from HLB. Thanks to this thread, it seems that it's a scam using a valid bank telephone number. Really scared me for a while
