Received this call twice today

MYEG car insurance renewal. Called me to confirm delivery details of my roadtax, etc.

Called me to promote their insurance which exclusive for customer who renew road tax via MYEG. I am not too sure the details as I am not interested but they said will give me side income around 200 a day.
I reject them despite they were trying hard to convince me, however the operator straight away hang up without saying thank you make this sounds like a scam to me

I got the call today too. Same story of promoting their insurance. I have rejected and shown my disinterest, but he insisted to continue and explain all the details. I stopped him and again emphasized my disinterest, he didn't bother but continued with his explanations. For the 3rd time, I stopped him and told him I'm not interested. The end he started to curse me by saying if you have any accident in future just remembered that you didn't buy this insurance when you should have. Damn, I should have just hung up on him right at the very beginning! Some times being a nice to a person may lead you to hell. MYEG I have decided not to use your service next year.

This number is caling from MYEG. Until now, I’m still waiting the Takaful Malaysia keep promise their get back money because no claim promoting. If Takaful Malaysia cheating no more purchase any more.

Got a call from this number. The guy claiming from MYEG and I have been selected as privileged customer...protection from accident...sounds good, free PA from MYEG？...yes Sir, onlyRM30 per month! MyEG partnership with AIG... Aiks, sorry I am not interested to buy insurance from telemarketer...Sir this is family plan, you will get 100k, wife wil get 100k and each child will get 20k protection.
The guy can't even tell me when was my last road tax renewal. I request an official email about the product. Finally I received an email from myeg*insurance*@GMAIL.COM!!! I start suspecting something not right because even the email is neither from @myeg.com.my nor @aig.com

I am no saying this definitely a scam. But please beware with telemarketer nowadays, put aside the products they are selling, he must at a minimum to prove his identity.

Caller from Myeg. Offered insurance. To good to be true. Be cautious

Just got a call.. said his name is Rakesh from MYEG.. asked if I've used MYEG service during PKP/MCO.. well, honestly, i didn't get his question.. so i asked again, what do u mean using MYEG service during PKP? Is it last year? As i don't remember login into my MYEG acc.

And he hung-up on me. Suspicious indeed.

i received the similar call today about 5pm. promoting the MYEG insurance bla bla bla... while he talking my phone battery died. suspicious. how they managed to retrieve personal details???

I think the caller is from the collector those person who does have pending payment whether is current accounts or old accounts. I received the caller before because i got pending payment for my old bill celcom.

luckily i checked here, i didn't not pick the call but to ensure i did not miss important call, so i double check, thank you all for your info

Yesterday, caller named Sarah called me and spoke in Malay. She asked if I am interested in additional insurance. I asked for a company  pamphlet but she had none to give as she was doing telemarketing. I asked for additional information to be sent via email to me. So far no email received. She will call me again tomorrow. Highly suspicious as everything is done through phone calls. I asked her who she worked for. She said a joint venture between MYEG and AIG. AIG is my car insurance and I just renewed it last week. I explained to her that many scams over mobile calls and since I also work in the IT industry I am well versed with scams. She only had my Name and Mobile number .. nothing else which suggest that she could have got my number from anywhere; I suspect MYEG insider giving information to 3rd parties.

Usually before answer weird number, I will search at google came from where.. thanks to u all to provide information 👍

Received the call from this number today. Said from AIG Insurance selling specially for MYEG customers named Logan. Refused no for an answer. No need medical check up, no supporting documents needed - straight away clear for a medical card.  As low as Rm51.
Very suspicious. No phamplet. And he said this is a confidential promotion.

Received a call from this number today. Rejected him a few times saying will think about it. He continues to talk on and on and on.... eventually i hang up his call

Terima call dari nombor ni..azira dari myeg,promote insuran AIG..perlindungan sekeluarga serendah rm68..Hmm,mcm scammer je siap mintak nombor exp kad bank bagai..tak tahulah betul atau tak..mula2 cerita macam best dia punya benefit..tapi,bila dh mula mintak nmbor kad bank,ic bagai aku dah suspect lain dah..so,aku abaikan..
