The easiest way to stop them calling is to stop being a paranoid child and pick up the phone when they call. They want you to do a survey. You're allowed to say no.

Pretty simple right? Now get a grip and stop whining.

Got few calls from this number this is reason i dont answer my home phone or numbers i dont no on my mobile so over it

Have been receiving calls from this number for a few weeks. Often between 5-7pm. Never answered it, but just decided to search it up and see if it was a known spam number.

Who belongs to this number?

I am pretty sure this number is a research company for the Education Department and that's why the Do Not Call List doesn't apply. They normally call recent school leavers. The call between 8am and 8pm. I get numerous calls but don't answer them. They have even called my parents house to try and contact me and I haven't lived there for over a year. It is really annoying and ridiculous.

I got a phone all just now from this guy called Archie claiming to be from the Aus Government Health Research and wanted me to take part in some survey... Sounded very dodgy in the background noise, and don't know how they even get your *mobile* number? Gonna watch out in case they call again.

Received a missed call from this number on my mobile today (Sunday, 30 June 2013) at 2.45 pm. No message left on voicemail. If this is telemarketing its more annoying being a weekend.

I'm with Optus and keep getting called from this number and similar, probably once a week. Never answer the calls...just annoying!

I've got a call from this number today just before 7pm.  I did not pick up.. No messages where left. Clearly if they wanted something and it's urgent, they will leave a message.  I get the feeling that it's a telemarketer.

I got a call from this number today. At first didn't understand anything he was saying. Asked about details of my children, my residence. It was a male voice, said they were based in Melbourne and doing a research. If any child was between age 9 and 15 years. It was a male voice and he won't disconnect, and was forcing me. I told him, will think about participating, give me sometime. But he was telling me whether he should call tomorrow night. Asked my name? What??? I asked him how he got my number, said randomly from some list. And I had to start a 20 minutes telephone survey immediately. Is this how data is collected for research?  What's this about? Whom to report? Somebody should stop this harassment?

I now realize that calls from this 0383276000 and 0383834900 are a nuisance ...have been for years......I am glad I have not answered them.
 Now I know ...NEVER ANSWER ....thanks to everyone who has reported this .... imagine how many do not report.

Brand new landline with Telstra, have not given out our number to anyone but family, get persistent phone calls from this number & several other numbers that have been confirmed as spam, makes me wonder who Telstra is giving our number to????

I get calls every week from this number and they never leave a message. I have had enough...and don't ever answer them.

Wanting to verify who this is claimed to be following up on a return to work support network.  Wanted me to answer 5 questions after first 2 questions they hung up?

Yea i'm getting the same, unfortunately. Just rang him up saying that i want them to stop calling me, as soon as i said that he said that i need your number so i can remove it, which is utter [***] and ridiculous, they got my number so then i rang them i'm sure they can just look at my details from when i HAVE JUST RANG THEM AND SEE MY NUMBER, HONESTLY.. I'm not even on private number so i don't even know how he got employed.
I hung up and if they do ring again i will ask them full on serious questions on how they got my number.
