Had to get an Ambulance and my ex didn't have me and my son under Defense Private Cover. We separated after that and I got a bill for 1600 and they are on my case about it. I can not afford the astronomical amounts they want me to pay weekly. Now I am cleaning out half of our savings account that had 88,000 in it and taking a whack of his super. I'll be able to pay it then.

I have been ignoring them for a while, but answered them this time.They had my info but not my first name just the initial.If a company is going to hand me over at least give my first name and give me town actual Australian Company like Dun and Bradstreet cause I know who they are. Yes, I owe the money and willing to pay it off and yes they are sending me papers to receive hardship. I was lucky I guess the person on the other end was polite.

This number has been calling me asking for people who I don't even know, today they called and said my email and number confirm and then said that they are debut collecting for my origin energy bill $93.00 that's overdue only 13days... but I'm not overdue. I laughed and hung up. This number must be scam..

Rang me about land sold to council back in the 60's. After my mother. Would not tell me anything other than it's a shire thing which they are not privy too. Scam, scam, scam!!!! How did they get my number and the information? P

Just ignore calls, they cant do anything. By law, they cant collect debt on behalf of actual creditor. Creditor must collect his debt directly.

Call all times of day and night, each time I actually speak to them they ask me if I'm a different person!  They've used several different names now, "is this Miss Brown"  "is this Miss Smith"  "Is this Mrs Jones", that sort of thing.  Obviously there is some kind of scam going on through this number, whether it belongs to a genuine company or not - it is being used by scammers in India.  You can never understand the name of the company either, since it is a Victorian number should be a Victorian, not an Indian woman every time - you can get away with any scam from a foreign call centre.

I had an overdue bill that went to ARL after quite some time. I did not ignore them, they were not rude. I pay my debts.
Not overly competent with technology, but not rude.

This number has called on numerous occasions and from what I hear are total pricks. Im turning 12 this year and I for some reason still receive these random calls. I have never answered an unknown number and don't want to. My parents say it is Telstra trying to get me to update my data plan, although from what I am seeing this is not the case. Please tell me who this/these people are, and what they want.

This number is ARL debt collection agnency
They leave entrapment messages ie stating PayPal.  This I believe is illegal.  I left a report with acct and everyone else should too.  I called them and recorded it and they hung up as he stated he wouldn't proceed when I said I already know your a debt collection agency not PayPal he stated you said that not me.  I said you said your from ARL anyone can google that company and know you are a debt collector.  You could also record these calls without telling them under vic survillence devices act
