Fishing scammer rather than a telemarketer
I called them back, an Indian accent man stated taht they operated in South Africa on behalf of a Victoria company,  but unlike most people posted, as he spelled the company name as Simpry Energy instead of Simply Energy.

Constantly calling

they've rang me at least 3 times, but never leave a voicemail...

called me multiple times around but no voice mail left

Has called 9 times in last 7 days, never leaves msg

It's comes up on my phone as a potential fraud. They have been calling non stop. Blocked now.

They called regarding electricity and gas. I asked them who are they calling for, they said they need to know who they’re speaking to before they say who they’re calling for? I said “what” and there was silence on the phone so I said “hello” again and then they reintroduced themselves, I said ok hi. And I asked again, “who are you calling for?” They responded with “are you the account holder?” So I said no.
