Im in WA too and alo getting missed calls from this number. I'm on DNC register but might update it

do not know why they keep phoning  or  times a day. i do not answer.

They've been calling me 3-4 times a day, sometimes late at night after 9pm.
Answered the first time and the other end was silent.
spam calls...

I also get calls from this number..03 9008 5083 for the last couple of weeks. have missed most of them until today, noisy background, no one there, just hangs up

I too have had this number call me twice today first time today I answered it and got some background noise. The second time a female indian sounding voice spoke to me she was from a place which is like lite and easy they were going to deliver me meals and pretty much all I had to do was pay $15.00 postage and handling enjoy the meals if they ever got delivered in the first place and then in about a months time or so pay full price for the meals as soon as she said that I said no thanks please don't call me ever again. I wonder if I will get any more calls from them.

I also wonder how she got my details she knew my first name and surname and also my email address and she called me on my mobile phone number,

I've had 3 missed calls from this number today. I'm about to block them using my phone's software. Over it!

Keep seeing missed calls from this number, never leaves a message, rings a few times a day.

Decided to answer it today, something I regret, caller was a young male with an accent (yank/asian or philipino?) who decided to argue with me about my name, hung up on the idiot.

NOTE To All Telemarketing Scum: If you argue with me for any reason you will not get a sale, I object to you calling me, disturbing me in the first place, I'm doing you a favor not leaving it for the answering machine, so under no circumstances is the customer not right, particularly about what their name is.

I got a call from the number but asked for the incorrect person, when called back number gives a beep and then dropes out.

Yes it is a scam, better to just hang up and block their number on your phone

Got a call from this number, Easy Meals.  Filipino operator did not care that  I am on the DNC list saying they got my name from a survey. I told them this was false. I called the company, Flavor makers, who referred me to Easy Meals. Easy Meals could NOT confirm where they got my home telephone number or what *survey* was the source.  They claim they got the telephone numbers from an agency but could NOT confirm how they got my telephone number.
I reported them to the ACMA via their website

ACMA gave me this response:


Thank you for the information you provided about the unwanted call you received. The ACMA’s enquiries indicate that this call is likely to originate from a company known as EasyMeals By Flavour Makers Pty Ltd.

The ACMA has received a number of complaints about the above named organisation and has written to it regarding its obligations under DNC legislation. This organisation is currently at the ‘warn’ stage of the ACMA’s Do Not Call Register Complaint handling policy (DNC policy). This means that the ACMA is closely monitoring the organisation and gathering evidence.

IT PAYS TO REPORT THESE IDIOTS. IF THEY GET FINES, THEN THEY WILL STOP.

I got a call from them and when I said I was on the DNC, they said they are allowed to call because I filled out a survey.  I had got a call from a survey (0011xxxxxxxx) a few days before.  They asked all kinds of personal questions and told them (all BS) that I was a lawyer and my wife works for the Govt. When they asked about income, I said that I do not give that info out.

Then at the end of the call, he very quickly said that I have qualified for ...........
At which point I asked who was calling (This needs to be done up front I learned) and I did not wish to qualifiy for anything.  He refused to give me any more information and then hung up. I have now reported it to the ACMA and this is what is called PUSH POLLING (acting like a survey, which is allowed, then changing to a sales pitch or using this as an invitation for OPTING IN, which I did not.
