some person asked me am I who I am and then hung up. I tried ringing back several times and got a answering machine saying that its BETTER CHOICE FINANCIAL GROUP

this AGS mob work on behalf of the Deague Property sharks. They will book you an appointment with one of their inhome consultants from Abetterchoice, then the real pressure starts, the annoying phone calls are only the begining. Once the consultant is in your home, they will some how show you that you are going to retire poor. They then play on this emotion so they can book you into their office in South Melbourne, where you get to spend a day listening to their very carefull clever presentation which will again make out that property investment is your only option, great considering they sell property. If you are stupid enough to fall into this trap, buy a piece of very over priced commercial property, then your mad. the only people your investment will help is the Deague family, who is making money every step of the way. They can produce no compelling paperwork which shows anything they claim, other than their emotional blackmail, and your poor fortune, No one pays off their mortgage in 7 years by paying half tax and buying a Deague Commercial property, It is any wonder how they keep getting away with giving financial advise with no qualifications and worse with their own stock they can not sell. The only thing you will do is line the pockets of their fat directors.

We have been getting prank calls for some time, but as they are not abusive just several seconds of silence then a mechanical voice saying "Goodbye". they were calling my sons mobile at 5:00am then moved on to the home phone. Call ID is blocked and as it is not threatening or abusive no one can anything about it.

The phone number you say is AGS is not the number on their contacts, it is also the wrong address, so maybe you are all bagging out the wrong company.  Just ask your accountant as he/she will know if this is company is for real.

All you people are highly strung paranoid wrecks. If you want to prevent calls for your typical call centre then use your [***] miniature brains; Do Not Call Register. Do it either online or over the phone whichever makes it easier for you illiterates.

What they do isn't a dodgy scheme. It's part of the income tax assessment act since 1997, many thousands of people do it. You claim 40% of your income tax back based off the interest through investing. For you less than 80k per year earners out there, you can't take advantage of it. Investing simply exists for financial security and is safe to play unless you aren't aware of what you're doing (i.e.. stock market) and always has a positive return. Listen before you judge. Not all people who call you up are doing bad deeds, nor are AGS. They create wealth for families maybe just not lower income earners. If it were illegal and not legitimate, then it wouldn't have been a government tax initiative introduced prior 1997 as mentioned above.

Outbound call centres are based off a dialler and unfortunately call the same number numerous times to some people. Don't get your knickers tied in a knot, say woosah, and move on.
