I have had this unanswered call number on my phone over several weeks I have not idea who it might be

The do not call register does not apply to charities, social and market research companies, it is only an offence if you are called outside the calling times (before 9am and after 8.30pm) you will also need proof.

If the do not call register doesn't apply to surveys what's the point? Every spam caller will claim that in one or the other way they relate to a survey.

I have that number on my landline callers list several times every week, sometimes 10 times a day, thankfully during the week, when I'm not at home, but annoying anyway. Recently they started calling Saturday mornings; yes, after 9am, but that doesn't mean I'm awake or open to the public when they call.

Today (Saturday) rang me and masqueraded as Telstra Technical support and wanted to look into my computer saying it was to prevent hackers?

Can't these people set their automatic calling to actually call less numbers as they clearly are ringing too many people who they end up hanging up on!!! VERY ANNOYING!

may 16 / 2012   every day, calls from 039940200 and caller hangs up as soon as I pick up.Very rude and annoying. If it's important enough to make the call surely it's important enough to at least be polite enough to let me answer.

These ppl just keep calling every single freakin day - I dont know them - GRRRRRR

They call me at least twice a day and when I call back I get a message from a company in Melbourne! I've never answered the call but I will now that I can help out

I called the number back and it plays a message about a wallis group surveying and gives me another number to contact that company :( do you know of any company by that name at all? I live in qld so I've never heard them before.

keep getting calls from 03 9940 2000 at least 3 to 4 times a day for the pass couple weeks
when I tried to call back it was busy

I'd like to know the company name attached to this phone number.

call at 7 pm saying from TAC and i gave all detail and was asking about income and family member too ,didn't know survey are not done after hour, as tac sent me couple of documents to do survey and i thought they must from the company

Market research company perhaps?
