I got few voice mail calls from this number and tried to ring the number that does not answer.

I just switched to Kogan mobile prepaid sim a few days ago, then I started to received txt message said I have voicemail, but I didn't miss out any call, don't bother to ring back and retrieve voicemail, worry if it's a scam call.  But still very annoying.

Yeah every time I rang my husbands number it went to his voice mail however he could call me. Upon looking into it for some reason all of his calls were diverted to that’s 0414 number you’re all talking about.  Yeah I got suspicious thinking he had another SIM card but after seeing all of the above I feel reassured that it’s a Vodafone scam

0414121000 is the number shown on the your bill as "forwarded to voicemail" when u have missed calls.

My mobile number with Vodafone had call forwarded to this number by default immediately. Whenever someone called me it directly went to this number. And I never knew someone was calling. But I was able to call. It was very irritating as I kept waiting for many expected calls.

I was overseas at the time and I definitely didn’t use my phone to call or answer any calls but on my bill it says I have and obviously Vodafone have charged me! How does this work?

For anyone interested reading, if you've got an unlimited call and text plan and within Australia this isn't likely going to be an issue. You can turn this off when roaming in the call diverting settings on your phone.

This number belongs to vodaphone and is used to divert missed calls to for voicemail, it's don't differently to optus/telstra but essentially does the same thing. Carriers on the vodaphone network will likely do this, such as Kogan, TPG, Hello talk, Lebra, GoTalk, Think mobile, C mobile and of course vodaphone themselves. I can't say for sure all of these use the above voicemail method but it is likely.

The phone automatically implements these setting when connecting to the network, in a similar way to how phones don't seem to require any manual setup for internet use anymore, they autoconfigure.

I'd like to think they could sort out something for roaming to ensure you aren't charged fees for not picking up roaming calls, I've never had this issue myself (haven't roamed with a vodaphone service) but if they charge for it still, that'd be a little concerning.

Note: This number isn't likely to call you, you are likely to call it, or redirect other callers to this number!

Same call forwarding number 0414121000 I’m with coda phone and the weird thing is my own phone number rings me and when I answer says something about you have 2 new voicemails.WTH can someone pls explain???

I had a phone Sybil next to wifi. So I googled it and it said it was for call forwarding and to the number 0414121000. I then rang the number and it just went beep beep beep like it was not come red or it was busy, weird and shifty I reckon... cos I never did the call forwarding myself.

I have this number co e up on call forwarding and I've never put up a number for that nor do I know the number but it comes up saying potential fraud
