I am in Dubai, I got a call from 04-3829743 and when i answered the call i heard an automated message saying 'You have a call plz hold' and all after few sec call disconnected saying 'Wasn't able to connect I will try again later'.. can someone help me on this.. is this a debt call or any fraud...thanks

I am in Abu Dhabi, recieved a call from the same number. When I answered the call, I could hear people talking at the back, but no one spoke. Finally I dropped the line. Can somebody tell me what is this all about?

This number belongs to Emirates NBD.They are the one who call scustomer if a single payment on your Card or any loan is missed.They are the most disguisting people & worst bank.

i got a call from this number .. i picked up .. i heard an automated message saying 'You have a call plz hold'  .. after some a lady picks up and speaks in a very rude manner. Asked my car loan is pending. I said ... its also paid. .... she took some time to check and finally said ... its paid .... I said " how come you call the customer without checking your system" and her response is " its none of your business" and hangs the phone. IS this the culture of Emirates NBD bank, one of the reputed banks in Dubai. Her behaviour was very rude.

You are correct. This bank is really very pathetic and unorganized. I even dont have any loan with them but stil I am receiving automated calls multiple times in a day. I am receiving these calls from July 2010 & on 7th September 2010 I received a complaint reference # is 3916094 from NBD but till now nothing has happened. Even I faxed them the mobile bill (which shows they are calling on wrong number) & my Photo ID proof but still its the same.

Thank god that I really dont have any account or loan with this pathetic & unprofessional bank.

This bank is really stupid! They keep on calling me every day! Emirates NBD will give you loan based on salary. If you pay on the machine, they will tell, they will just deduct on the salary. When your salary don't come, they will tell you to pay on the machine. Then if you miss a payment, a lady there will tell you to even become a prostitute to pay for your debt or steal. It's none of their concern as long as you pay. Really stupid! Emirates NBD and the people in this bank are really stupid and rude and ill mannered! Good ridance I'm finish paying. This bank sucks! Hope it becomes bankrupt! STUPID!

What a shame, these people themselves advertise as one the best banks and they do not even know basic customer service etiquettes ! I have been also a victim of their automated calls from 04 3829743 and called their toll free number to report it .. I always wonder when they do not help you out why do they pick the line a say  HOW CAN I HELP YOU ? funny is not it ?  I have been asked to call on a 600 number for which I will be charged . For the trouble made by the bank I have to spend money from my pocket and solve… what world we are in ?

Its from Emirates NBD, their system is stupid. I always receive a call from that number every month since i have a loan with the bank but then my payment is always transferred before the due date and paid even in advance. I wonder why they always call and ask you to pay without checking their systems first, it is really annoying! Once i have finished paying my loan, i will definitely close my account with that bank and will never ever use their services again! Wish they become bankrupt!

Whenever you receive a call from them, answer the call and leave your instrument aside. Let them blabber one sided, atleast etisalat will make the money !

i was trying to google how&where to report rude bankers in UAE, then i saw this post, i  actually got a called this morning from the same number,it's a local lady saying she is from a legal department asking me about my creditcard bill, and i told her i just came back from my maternity leave and when she doesn't seem to understand what i am saying, she gave the phone to an INDIAN guy, and start he's very rude! i tried to explain that i have spoken already to one of their representative, he still continue talking and talking he even said you've been sleeping for 5mos!! and i was like "CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING?" he said "what? what are u saying?" told him "see? you keep on talking and u dont even understand me! is that how u treat your customers?" "what's your name!?" (***he talks***(just imagine how annoying stupid indian talks) IM SO SORRY im not being racist here. ) then i repeat, "WHAT'S YOUR NAME??"" and he banged the phone! wtf!!!!!

FYI: ive been banking with them for 3yrs and been a good payer
i was not able to pay as i just got back from maternity leave and planning to close the account.
