just had a recorded call on this number, something to do with PPI.  Seems a funny number but this is what came up when I did 1471

Just had a call from this number, 044.
I let it ring out as I do with all calls to my home number, check the number
and ring it back if it's someone I know...

Just has this number ring me, was a chap talking about debt, I put the phone down.

My wife has received 4 calls  from a number 044 Asian man saying his name is Peter. Something about Healthcare in Bedfordshire. When asked what he wants he repeats himself.

Ive just had a call on my mobile from a strange number--044??? As i didn't like the look of it, i answered it without saying anything and all i could hear in the background was alot of foreign voices, sounding like a call centre, how do i report them as a nuisance number?

Its junk. Recorded 'important' call to install loft insulation and more. Didn't wait long enough to hear what more they had - cut them off.

044 rang. Didn't like the look so didn't answer. Looks like a nuisance call so blocked.

I didn't like the look of this. My advice would be "if you're not sure about something don't do it". Saves a lot of trouble.

044 the number rang I answered they told me I had won the lottery when I asked how they knew this the foreign guy said it was on his computer screen so I played along to see where it would go but never have I played the lottery online only ever bought them at a local shop. But sure enough he tried to tell me the only way to pay me was through a bank account I told him I don't have one he got really cheeky and said I must have one every one has one I got bored by this point and told him to go f#$k himself lol

I keep getting the number ringing me I keep ignoring it or cutting it off but then a 0345 and 0145 ring me it's annoying

0442802642965 a prankster who sounds like a man on steroids screaming a high pitched AAAaaaa at my answering machine. Stupid idiot. How do you block this?
