who keeps calling me

Keeps ringing 4 time a day, never leave a voicemail and no one speaks when I answer.

just had a call from them. They asked for someone not living here in a strong indian accent, but I just hung up when they kept insisting they wanted to talk to me.

044208 called today, but i did not answer due to the strange number.  does anyone know how this six digit number is possible outside of an area code?

i had these calls 4 times last night from this number and also 0208 no one on the other end when i answer and then rings and tells me that the caller has cleared the line

044208 Same as other comments, three times tonight ,no one there silence not even gonna try and ring back it might cost a fortune.

same here,5 times a day, either cant understand what they're saying or they shout hello then hang up

This number has called several times in the last few days along with 0208 and strangely 00.
No one there.

14th April received call from 044208 but caller hung up. Did not ring back as thought it would cost a lot. Who is this ?

called last 2 days but no message or anything

I 'm sick of getting calls from 044208.  Started to say I wasn't interested and caller hung up.  Another time asked them to remove my number from their DB and again they put phone down.  Still they keep calling.  Perhaps I should just let them speak and keep my phone connected to them and run their bill up.  What is the point of being ex directory?

who's ringing me i am not supposed to get nuisance callls.

had this number call me quite a few times, at first used to answer it but nobody answered. next time i just let it ring when i saw the number come up on my phone. i complained to talk talk and they gave me a number to call when it happened again and said it would barr it.  obviously didn't work as an hour ago it just rang again only this time it immobilised my phone.   I tried to phone my house phone from my mobile but it said the number was busy. this went on for an hour.  i've been trying to contact talk talk in that time but i couldn't get through on my mobile.  i've just tried my house phone again and it's now got a dial tone and is working again.
i wish talk talk would sort this as it's not only frustrating, it's dangerous especially as i couldn't get through to talk talk on my mobile  ( the automated service would only accept my house phone)
i can only suggest to never answer it when the number flashes up on your phone.

I think it's about time service providers took responsibility for barring these calls without us paying the fee for 'bar last number' services.  Talktalk have been particularly unhelpful in what constitutes an abuse of their service, I suggest that if this is severe, recipients of these calls contact the police and complain about harrassment.  Maybe then the service providers will do something about it.

I wasn't interested but he kept insisting it would only take a few minutes - he then asked me to confirm the postcode he had was the right one, which I said it was.  He then asked me for my first name which I told him and then he started to spell it out slowly at which point I said I didn't want to continue - he then tried to continue so I put the phone down.

i had a call from an indian guy called "joe" as if, asking me to do a survey. when i said i was busy , which at that moment i was, he became very insistant, i had to be really firm  since then i have had 3 further calls from this number though its constantly engaged , who are they and how do they get ex directory numbers? WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!
