Asian lady who said she was from windows technical team  -- telling me that I have a problem with my computer a virus that is really bad. This is not the first time i have had this but it is now from different phone numbers - but they are always of Asian origin.

Yes, these pests have more 'phone numbers than a dog has fleas.  They want remote access to your computer and, if they get it, they will install spyware/malware to steal personal information like bank details and passwords.  Neither Microsoft, nor its partners, would ever 'phone.  It would be a breach of their privacy rules.  The people who do 'phone know nothing about your computer.  They rely on scare tactics and lack of computer knowledge.  To prove how little they know they refer to "Windows Technical Department" when there is no such thing as Windows is an operating system.  The scam has been exposed on several BBC TV programmes recently, such as "You've been Scammed", "Crimewatch Roadshow" and "Doorstep Crime 999".

0502v1315478 keeps calling today ...Saturday. When I answer they hang up!

Calling constantly, different time of the day.. Nobody has my land line number, I didn't pick up, but I would like to know who is it?

Got two calls from the very unusual 0502 1315 478 today. This is not a conventional UK number of any kind. The calls where about 1.5 hours apart and came into my landline during the daytime. Did not leave a message and I didn't answer. It's now incredibly unusual to get landline calls so I never ever pickup. All calls are screened.
My (obvious) advice is never pickup if you don't recognise the number. Legitimate callers will leave a message or call your mobile.

Called twice on a Saturday 05021315478. Call screening, no message left. Sounds bogus to me.

A woman that friended me on Instagram chatted with me on "Hangouts" app. Gave me her number as 0502413418. Would like to know where that number originates from.
