0506

I just got a call from 0506.  No-one there. Eventually a computer says goodbye then hangs up. Dialled 1471 and the number given was 0506 - is that even a number??? ANNOYING! Being on TPS makes no difference. :(  All cold calling should be made illegal.

I've also had a couple of calls from 0506 in the last day or two. Just silence, then hangs up. No idea who this is, and I'm also with the TPS, for all the good it does.

This is a precursor to an MITM attack. Man in the Middle attack. DO NOT ANSWER AND DO NOT RECALL. Please research MITM attack on Google. If you have answered this call or even worse called back, get your line checked for MITM attack.

I also got a call from this number, i never answered but it went to my messaging service, does this mean my lines compromised?

I got a phone number from 0506 and i phoned the police there working on it

I received a call on my landline today (Bank Holiday Monday), I let it go to ansaphone..no message left.

Received a call on my landline from 0506 6929198.  They ended the call once the answerphone came on!
