    I don't know who the number belongs to, but my phone was stolen by an Afghani man in February who ran up a great bill before I disconnected the line. I got the bill and during that time he was making calls from my line to this number (0555678171) A LOT. Leading me to Google it and stumble on this website. Would really love to know who it is and catch the man who stole my phone.

    My last 6 month bills are occupied with this number but when I tried to call, the response is "we are facing technical difficulties". DOUBTFUL , for sure will report it!

    I found that number called from my phone too many times every month for the past year and didn't notice it before...I just did now and when i called it back it said we are having technical difficulties at the moment!!!

    I got my bill and I found out that I've been calling this number for months and weird timings, like 3Am and 5AM. My dad has been very suspicious that its me calling that person and I am asleep that time, thank god I found this post as my dad doesn't believe me

    I saw this on my bill as well. I think that's their voicemail number. If the voicemail service is activated on your phone, deactivate it. You can call 155 and they'll send you the instructions to disable voicemail. This is what they sent me:

    "To deactivate voicemail for all calls, dial ##002#."

    Note that this will deactivate the missed call notification SMS service too.

    "To reactivate that, dial **62*163# and then once again dial **67*163#"

    I called DU 155 this morning and they mentioned nothing to worry it was the voice mail number and it was a free service (No charge or no time deducted) I hope they are right.

    I found this number in my bill as well. And it has used all my free minutes. Do i need to report it to the police. Because du is just hopeless and they said since the number is not registred with them they cant do anything.

    I've been going over my bill for months and I've just seen that I have hundreds of 3-5 second calls to this number (0555678171). I've lodged a complaint with Du and will get the number blocked.

    Surely they would notify you if there are dozens of calls to number which they no doubt already know is somehow dodgy (from earlier complaints), for a few seconds at a time.

    I just noticed that this same number has been appearing on my DU bill for months and costing me a lot for calls and data usage, especially while on travel.  The calls are a few seconds each.  I think it sounds fishy that DU has not noticed this and they are leaving it on everyone's bills.  I tried calling that number now and I got a message that states "sorry we are having technical difficulties now.  Goodbye". Very fishy and adds up to a scam.  You just have to ask yourself: "who benefits from this?"

    Same problem. Not in the call history but in the bill 0555678171. But I'm in a business solution plan and looks like, it's not debiting the account. Wierd way to waste process, time and ink!

    i got same issue, just got subscribed to postpaid plan n got my 2nd month bill, n both bills having extra amounts for some weird few second calls to number i never dialed in my life: 05555678171
