Call from The Daily Telegraph, who I had called earlier about subscriptions.
However, they now call back from this number, leaving no messages or anything. When I contacted them to complain, they said they wanted me to do a survey. I only discovered it was them by ringing the number.
It is simply not worth phoning any organisation these days, as you just get bombarded with these calls, and no doubt they will pass on my number to various other people.

I rejected the call as I didn't recognise the number more particularly as it started 05 I decided it was probably some sort of scam.  Undeterred they left a vast message on my voicemail but nothing in the message identified who was calling, I suspect my personal greeting may have cut off the beginning of what was clearly a recorded message.  I had called the Telegraph subscriber service earlier in the day so it could have been them as experienced by Tim but I have no intention of following it up.

Phoned the Daily Telegraph to update my subscription account. Within minutes received a call from 056 0036 3500 which I didn't answer as I did not recognise the caller and in particular because the number started 056. Voice mail message left but the first part of the call is cut off so it is not clear who has called. It is only when listening to the message it becomes apparent that it is for the newspaper wanting feedback from my earlier call. I will not respond. It is about time that the law was altered so that the correct details of calls from market researchers were shown on the receiver's phone. Another number for the Call Blocker service

Phoned up Daily telegraph to cancel my subscription at 1100 hrs, Got a call from this number at 11:15 hours. Rejected the call, as it appeared to be a foreign number at first glance. I am wary because of reports which state that just answering some calls could cost you money. It is probably a call from Daily telegraph as mentioned above.

Like many of other comments, I hadnust renewed. Y DIly Telegraph subscription when I received the 05600363500 number.. I thought it was a foreign call so did. It pluck up ‘phone. I will. D reporting this to the nuicense calls number.

Like others I had just renewed my Telegraph subscription minutes before getting the call. Didn't answer.

Same above really, I'm a subscriber and called to get some replacement vouchers - within 2 minutes get a call from this very dodgy looking number so ignored it. Left a long voicemail (automated 6 question survey) which is now deleted.

Had I been told at the end of the original call to expect a call from an 056 number I may have answered it but it still smacks of bad business practice really.
