Got a call today, think it was telesales, didnt answer in so not 100% sure.

i registered  with  tps  but  still  get  nuicence  calls  very anoying

I received a call from this unusual number but didn't answer.

activated my new credit card via phone with NatWest. immediately got  call from this number, didn't answer, but had a voicemail which was a survey for how I felt the service was. was no very specific as to who the survey was from so I just hung up and didn't carry out the survey

I had exactly the same thing happen to me. It was almost as if the beginning of the message was missing, so I had no idea who it was from (but I had activated my NatWest credit card a few hours earlier). I just deleted the message.

I think this might be Natwest then as I called their credit card customer number earlier with a query in my card and within minutes of hanging up got a call from this number too. Didn't answer as assumed it was cold callers.

Same. Ballance transfer with natwest. 10ish mins I had a miss call.

Phoned up to cancel my Natwest credit card and within 10 minutes I had a call from this number. Didn't answer.

I also think its Natwest.  Called them to ask when my interest free period was due to end, then I recieved this call after about 10 minutes.  Didn't answer it either.

Had just spoken to NatWest about my credit card account.  I missed this call that came in immediately afterwards, but it would make sense that it was a survey to ask about their customer services.

I cancelled a lost Nat West credit card last night & this afternoon had the automated survey request which did not record in full on my mobile voicemail when I rejected the call.

This number called me whilst I was still on the phone to Natwest.

This is the latest number to ring my home telephone. As a result of being in receipt of 'nuisance calls', I long ago began the practice of never answering my telephone, but checking up on who had called by dialling 1471. All my friends know I do this and know that I will discover they have tried to contact me and I ring them back. This deals successfully with all nuisance calls of any variety without any further fuss ie., new telephone with call-blocking facilities, registering with an organisation dedicated to stopping such calls etc., etc., Granted, it is marginally inconvenient, but the effect is 100% efficient so I am totally not irritated any more.

Being a Nat West survey sounds possible.  I had just spoken to them to try and get the Contactless feature disabled on a new card (they refuse), this number called immediately afterwards but was trapped by the BT8500 phone Call Guardian.

Just had dealings with Nat West Credit Card line minutes before this call, which I failed to answer.

Hi.  Had to call both Natwest bank and credit card customer services several times over the last couple of weeks, but not from my home number as I was away.  They were aware of my alternative contact details during that period.  Got home last night and found "silent" calls from this number on my answer machine, each one within minutes of my completing a call to the bank/credit card line.  Have just spoken to the bank who confirmed that the number is nothing to do with them or their survey people; the latter use an 0345 number.  Their fraud people confirmed that they have previously had reports of this number calling after someone has contacted their bank/credit card line, both silent and with a poorly recorded message, and that a major problem is that it sometimes takes an age to disconnect from your line.  Other banks have had the same and as TPS doesn't seem able to block it the only advice is if you can see which number is calling you, don't answer it.  Hope this helps.

Rang Nat West to cancel new contactless credit card but got cut off after about 10 mins of waiting.  A few minutes later I received a call from this number, it rang only once then stopped - I did not answer it.
