Nice, France- same old story. A lot of the time you only work out how the con works if you're silly enough to enter into communication with the "guy." Three of four emails down the line you'll receive a request to wire a couple of thousand euros to his bank account for some unforseen logistical problem.

Hi everyone!
Mr. Morris is getting married in Trentino Alto Adige (Italy) as well on the 29/03/14
We asked for a 35% deposit of the total sum and what we recived yesterday is a cheque with DOUBLE the total amount we forecasted him for his wedding.
Probably the cheque will be uncovered but I wonder if you can get back to him through his bank account....
Anyone knows?
