I've had a couple of calls from this number and a guy asked for my husband by name and when I said this was my number and didn't he have his number he said no and said 'so he's not available then? In a harsh tone! I said no and what was it concerning and he said kids with cancer and he would call back ... Ill be waiting for a call back to tell him that people are aware they are possible scammers!

Just got a call from this number.  sound like someone making stupid noise into mobile.  they hung up

Recieved a call from this number today 27th of August 2013.

As others have pointed out it is a number being used by a telemarketing company.

The call was regarding donating for Canteen an organisation that supports young people who have cancer.

I called Canteen to check on that this was legitimate and the person I spoke to passed on my details to their national office.

Someone from the national office called me later and after I gave them this number confirmed that it was a legitmate call from the company they outsource their charity calls to.

Canteen's number if you want to call them is 1800 226 833.

Keep getting calls from this number, dont answer as i dont know the number or the area code for that fact. found this, very helpful, will know not to answer, thanks guys :)

I get contacted on a day to day basis, I'm over it!!!!

Soooooooooo sick of getting calls from this number. They call a couple or three times a day and there's just silence.Wish I knew how to stop it.

I do currently donate a monthly contribution to Canteen, Im hoping they are not requesting more money.??

I luckily didn't answer this number today!

I've had three phone calls from this number in the past month. Two I missed and the third my partner answered only to have hung up when I reached the phone.

I have been getting calls daily from this number since 17/12/13 ....so glad I checked this number on here before I answered as I actually have a monthly payment to canteen and I could have been scammed .....

Got a call from this number last Wednesday & they just hung up.
After reading last years posts I am concerned as I am a regular donor to canteen, though my donations are followed up by mail & receipts. The phone number of canteen that I know is legitimate is a melbourne number!
Keep that in mind when 'canteen' ring. It truly is a good cause, for kids affected by cancer.

Hey, I spoke with CANTEEN - a charity for children with cancer and rang them on their 1800 number on the website - they tried to call me back from this number.  From what I can see this IS a legitimate caller.  It's unfortunate some of the callers have been less than nice on the phone but maybe if you do get a call express your concern and tell them you'll call their 1800 number directly or whatever is the up to date number on their site.  I hope that helps.

I also received a call from this number on the weekend, when I answered there was allot of background noise (like a call centre) but no one spoke so I ended up hanging up.

This number keeps calling me. I refuse to answer. They dont leave a message so cant be too important! Have blocked on my phone hopefully this helps.

I often received phone calls from 0730154067 and when I picked up one day, it was a female voice who talks to me. I was in a noisy place, so I didnt hear anything of what she was saying, so I told her to call me back the next day,she said ok, and she didnt call. As I was curious to know who called me, i called the number and there was a voicemail who responded.Few  days later, this number called me again,but i told a friend to speak whith her. When he asked who she was she said Canteen???

I received a couple of calls from this number last week on my mobile, I don't recognise the number so leave it go to message bank. They never leave a message so called them back and it goes to an automated voice for CANTEEN asking to donate.  I have now blocked this number in my phone.
