- JalnorThe calls (at least, some of them) actually come from a company I interviewed with recently, called Neo Media. They buy data from "various sources" and don't care if you're on TPS. They'll generally call about 6 times unless you tell them not to call back (even saying you're not interested just means they'll call back later) and, when they're done with you, they'll sell your data to someone else.
They really don't seem to give a frak about decent behaviour either; after an hour listening to their operatives, nothing on this page was news to me.- Caller: Neo Media on behalf of Chilly Warranty Shop

- Anon replies to Old Mother RileyJust to let you know that the Chilly Warranty Shop operation, run by Dave Reynolds, Vincent Saunders, and Andrew Dunne, out of Link House, Rumbow, Halesowen, B633HN was closed down on 31/10/13 as Neo Media Solutions Ltd went into administration with debts owing of over £180,000.
Over 30 people were laid off.
Since, under the company name Quota Lead Gen, still operating under Dave Reynolds, and still out of Link House, the Chilly Warranty Shop operation continued until 23rd January 2014.
On this day, employees turned up for work to find entry codes changed and a heavy duty padlock on the door. Communication with Dave Reynolds suggested that there were "landlord issues" and that the computers had all been stolen. With assurances that everyone would be paid on time, it has been discovered that Quota Lead Gen has also gone into administration. - Anon replies to scam fronted by convicted fraudsterhttp://blogs.mirror.co.uk/investigations/2010 ... tcover-gui.html

For a long time we've said that satellite TV warranty salesman David Reynolds is a charlatan - and now he's been found guilty in a huge fraud case.
The former director of Satellite Direct UK, Satcover and Homecare Services Agreements was found guilty of defrauding the taxman of over £600,000.
Reynolds, 45, from Ditchling, E Sussex, was branded "profoundly dishonest" by the prosecution at Maidstone Crown Court, which heard how income was siphoned into secret accounts hidden from HM Revenue & Customs.
At one stage, Reynolds' empire consisted of 400,000 customers, 700 call centre staff and a turnover of £20million.
But, as we've revealed before, much of that turnover was based on a sham.
His staff would trick victims into thinking they were dealing with Sky, and persuade them to take out a new warranty even though their old one had not expired.
Recently the scam took on an even more blatant twist - we've heard from many customers who say that the decimal point was "accidentally" moved one place on their direct debit, with £65 being taken from their accounts monthly instead of £6.50.
Satellite Direct has since gone bust with debts of £27,117,210.00 and, no, the decimal point isn't in the wrong place. Satcover is in administration.
Reynolds is due to be sentenced next month.
