Just got a phone call from this number but when I answered they did not respond - I then received the following text messages "Sos must hav typed the number in wrong then jung up in a panic cos didn't expect sexy voice to ansa" - Soon after this I received a further text "Sos bit cheeky sayin u had sexy voice, no offence meant" - following by a 3rd text "Im a male stripa so born cheeky lol.hav nice day and sos again" - The thing is I was sent the same text on the 1st April and then again today on the 1st November - I'm sure this is a scam as UK numbers generally start with 079

I have had the same thing happen to me today and it is the same mobile number that texted me a few months ago "by mistake."

I find the whole experience strange. I called the number from my land line which shows up as private number and this mobile number went to Orange voicemail.

Today's date is 221111.

This number text me saying  " you wouldn't want a pic, I'm a big lad thats why I strip at hen nights"

I replied confused and they replied - Ooops wrong number.

Very weird as I don't give my number out to anyone on nights out etc so unless it's a company selling contact details and this person has got the list. Worrying really!

am now having regular "updates" including If you're a hairy trucker ignore that Im a big lad

Poor chuck Whatsapped me by mistake with some lovely, sexy, full frontal photos! I found it very amusing and complimentary as really I'm 4ft 4" with 3 legs and a hare lip. Thanks ;-)

Had similar.   Sent message message about mountain climbing,  then another saying 'ih sorry that was for my mate dave'.  A bit more sexy "do you where nylons" shite.  Just checked who calls me so blocked him.

Just had this message. " think I'm too old for mountain climbing I'd get caught up in the rope"
So I sent eh?
They replied saying wrong number but realised by my pic I'm not Dave "
Then called me a milf etc......
Number now blocked 🚫

Same WhatsApp message as previous person about mountain climber. Some weirdo chancer with time on his hands. Tragic.

Text a random message aimed at a 'friend', when I replied with wrong number, immediately text back with several flirty text messages and then another 'apology' for being forward.
Blocked before it could carry on any further.

Similar to above,  random message came through sounding like was from a friend- I thought perhaps I knew them and asked them who they were. Ths kick started them to start chatting, admitted that they didn't know me, but kept sending more 'friendly messages. Found whole thing instinctively a bit odd.
They kept probing for more chat but I just stopped replying.
Weird

Sent a message pretending it was sent to my number by mistake about trying on a pair of tight jeans!

all stuff was cool its the jeans that will make me very showy in them lol - that is the message I received from the same number - will block straight away.

message saying shirt is fine its the tighter jeans that will make me look very showy in them lol.. i replied who's this... they typed wrong number in, tried getting flirty but i blocked number... said his names gavo
