Scammers - "This is bank fraud security, two unusual amounts have been charged to your bank account", etc - A number to block!

It may very well be fraud but don't ignore it.  Call the number on your bank card or use the online customer portal.  When you call ask to be transferred to the fraud center.  The reason I say that is because sometimes customer service reps are unaware of fraud alerts because the bank uses a third party fraud alert company.  Scammers like to throw doubt on legitimate fraud calls but any number, even a legitimate one, can be spoofed.  By initiating the call yourself to the number on your card, you avoid the possible scammer.  Don't give out information to anyone who calls you but don't ignore possible fraud alerts.  Cheers.
