- Basil - Happy Accor member| 3 repliesIf you all bothered to answer (your most likely are trying to aviod debt collectors) you would all find out why thay are trying to call you.
Yes its the ACCOR Hotels, thay call you if you have stayed at a proerty in the past to offer you discount in the hotels, half price dinning and discounts at attractions.
Maybe if you answered you would be able to save money and not have the dabt collectors after you - Jonas replies to Basil - Happy Accor memberI just received a call from them but didn't bother picking up.. Anyway, i don't believe that i have ever stayed at one of their hotels or properties and i have no idea where they got my number

- Duude replies to Basil - Happy Accor memberWhat a load of horsesh#t,,, just another telemarketing scam. And if it really is a hotel chain (which I doubt), great way to p#ss people off and encourage them to avoid you in the future..
And no, I have no debts you stupid woman.... :) - TOC replies to Basil - Happy Accor memberReally Basil?? They just called my 13 year old son. Pretty sure he has no debts and has never stayed in an Accor hotel (where his name was the contact!) Who the hell do you think you are? Assuming that people who either miss a call or don't answer an unknown number are being chased by debt collectors... Should I assume that you are one of those annoying people making the calls? Probably!!
- ADZThese guys rely on referrals from ANYONE! Tell everybody you know not to give your number out as they ask for as many numbers as possible when they talk to you. If a certain amount of people you refer take up their offer they reward you with [***] deals!
- LindaI received an unsolicited phone call on 4 july from 075340400 selling rooms with an annual fee $319 with Accor. Would not email out terms and conditions. Apparently in 15 years of phone selling they just email out a receipt within the hour after someone has purchased. I suggested to the caller that Accor group move with the times as I don't give my credit card details out over the phone to someone I don't know, and no proof.

- BenI answered the call. Listened to the promo and went with it. I use there Hotels on a monthly basis. So the deal worked for me. Wouldn't recommend it for everyone though. They did ask me for more phone numbers which I refused

- /??Normally the only way this company get your number is if you have been selected by a friend to join. My friend has been a member for the advantage plus club for 5 years and absolutly loves it. so depends if you travel and go out for dinner a lot, if you do its great if not then dont do it.
- Dave QldSerial pest. I was an Accor loyalty card user until recently, but it is the least beneficial of the several programmes I have used. After spending about $3,000 on hotel rooms my reward was a $60 voucher to be used as a discount off the full rate on a hotel room, an inflated price that hardly anyone ever pays as there is nearly always some reduced rate avilable. Effectively worthless. So I reckoned on transfering points to a "partner" airline card - not permitted until I spend another $2000. I politely told them to shove their card. The calls keep coming - I don't answer. I'll only use Accor hotels if I get triple Qantas points, and then only if nothing else is suitable.

- JackWell the answer is easy for me, no more stays with Accor Advanatge - no clients = no business = no calls. Ive had something like 30 attempted calls over the last 6 weeks

- MickyKHave started getting a few of these sort of calls. And the catalyst, as far as I can tell, was when I purchased travel insurance for an upcoming trip. I think that the Flight Centre insurance company (can't remember the name) may have sold my details . . .
- John KeelyThey keep calling me too. So glad I googled the number, I know never to answer now. (:
- PhoebeYes they are selling Accor hotel vouchers but they don't actually belong to Accor but rather an affiliation, which is how all the hotel loyaly programs work. Basically they determine the T&C and the hotels have no control over. The hotels have to adhere to their ridiculous terms and conditions which ends up pissing their loyal guests off, and the guests believe they hold some sort of privege statues being a member.
Being an ex hotel staff let me tell you, the hotel doesn't make much money from these loyalty programs so they couldn't care less what statues you are. Unless you stay a ridiculous amounts of nights in a hotel, it's not worth joining these programs.
The only people making money is the third-party company that owes the loyalty program and hence the telemarketers are phone selling them crazy to make commission. - TomGot 2 missed calls from this number. If it is Accor hotels then the last time I stayed with them I paid up front online and then they charged me again when I left. So double dipping. They then had no record of me staying with them, even though I had paid them twice, and It took me months to get my money back. I had to cancel my credit card as fraud was suspected, and it was more hassle than you would believe.
- Sue AnneLucky I googled this number. I blocked them!

- MDThanks so much. They called on my non published work mobile. Mine is only an internal use mobile. Annoyed they have the # as it is for medical emergency purposes only.
Thanks for the heads up. I blocked them using the block feature on my work iphone. To do this add them as a contact (eg. "ACCOR DON'T ANSWER!!!" Save the contact. Open the contact info again, scroll to the bottom and select "Block Contact".- Caller: A
