OK here are their details. They are calling to see if you have a live phone number (this is an automated system) Presumeably someone from their telemarketing rings you back. I have just found them and have spoken to a manager there named DEE. She confirmed that they do own this number and it is an aoutomated screening system. I asked her to remove our numbers from their datanbase and I also suggested she do an internet search on her companies phone number, as there is a lot of concerned and irritated people.

[***] off dont call me !!! Im not interested in buying anything!!!!!

Me too today.  I didn't answer it because I was able to Google this forum before it ran out.
They happen all the time and it really bugs me - plus I incur voicmail charges on my mobile.  Ratbags!

I keep getting called too, so i called them back and left a message, "this is chrissy and my phone number is **** *** *** and my message is STOP FCKING CALLING ME EVERYDAY"

Call this number, 1800 807 097 and ask to be removed from their telemarketing list."

Thanks bec,

This worked for me, chick was friendly, she told me it's their 'dialer', apparently they out-dial 10 calls at once and when someone answers the other nine calls get abandoned.

I informed her that this style of call has made me completely certain i will never do business with this company, which as stated is Whyndam Asia Pacific.

Had a call from them today - I thought it was someone I knew, so silly me answered it! The guy hardly paused for breath to let me say, "No, thank you." Even tried to offer me a $75 Coles Myer voucher if I changed my mind. Urgh. I'll try calling the 1800 number.

...it should be bloody illegal for them to do this.

Anyone want to launch a DoS on their site?

i dont know who these people are, but they KEEP CALLING ME. i reject their call, and they leave no message. this has been happening for a month now and i dont know why.

HAHAHAHAHAHA, funniest thing i've read yet!!!!!

Thanks Bec, the 1800 number worked and hopefully no more 'twice a day' calls from bloody Wyndham

ive been getting missed calls from this number for months! they never leave a message. i need to call the 1800 number to get taken off their calling list, its so annoying!

They called me now every 2 days or so and they try to speak to Bradley

I'm not 100% sure but a couple of years back I signed up with a guy in Movieworld when I was on holiday on the GoldCoast, he said if we went to some seminar on timeshare accommodation that we could get a free pass to one of the themeparks.. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with that?  I don't remember the name of the group, but it's the only time I've ever given my info to someone from QLD!

0755121013 called me 4 time this week. No one was there when I answer it.

I have been getting missed calls from this number for weeks now and I am OVER it why wont they stop calling????? I never pick up and they never leave a message where can I complain and get them to stop

i've been getting calls from this number tha last few days. i haven't answered yet, but i dont think i'm going to now. :s

is everyone from the gold coast? i am and i just got this missed call. luckily i ignored it coz i didnt recognise the number.

I've been receiving missed calls from this number.  I knew it's a telemarketer so I don't answer.  The number is connected with Wyndham Vacation Resorts.

I found one of their offices in Melbourne which I just happened to notice the sign outside Knox Shopping Centre.  Here'r their address, same building as Knox City Council, above the Library.

Level 6, Office Tower, Knox City Shopping Centre
425 Burwood Highway,
Wantira South

The office was closed last Saturday so I couldn't get in and have a word with their manager.

Other offices can be found in this site:  http://www.wyndhamvrap.com/pages/index.php?objectID=87

For us it's too late, but we can tell others (friends, families, stangers) not to sign up to those too-good-to-be-true free raffle tickets (e.g Win a car, win a vacation) we see at the shopping centres.

Yeah me too they calll me when i am at school and when i ring them back they always send me to the answering machine. They are a resort pacific or something? Yeah they are really weird. i justw ant to know who they are so i can ask them why they are always calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
