Got a call from them today, saying I had won $1000 in travel vouchers to use all over the world. And that I had to answer a few questions, but they asked about my income which should have nothing to do with winning something. Knew it was a scam. If you tell them you earn less than $65000pa they leave you alone.

You may not remember it, but you all entered a competition online, most likely under the "rokt" marketing brand (though displayed on a popular site like ebay or something). As part of the entry, you gave your name and phone number, and that's how they've obtained your details.

You were entering a competition with no relation to wyndham resorts, but you forgot to un-check the box that permits ebay & rokt from giving your details to wyndham. Now a bunch of places has your phone number, and you still didn't win the nissan micra.

Ha ha. This number has been calling me day and night but have not answered it because I didn't recognise it. Out of curiosity I googled it and saw all of this. What the! - just leave everybody alone whoever you are.

Yep rang me today.

I called Wyndham (07 5512 8888) and got my number taken off their call list, apparently they have an auto dial machine. Or a lazy sales rep who just dials the number and then hangs up!!
