O2 - merlin replies to BidlakebirdThe blank documents usually run macros, Microsoft has disabled auto run of macros
usually these macros are not viruses so the virus scanner will not detect them
they tend to run commands to give them access to your data or make some sort of connection to your computer.
hope that helps - Jade replies to KarenI had exactly the same as this, and exactly the same number!

In actuality sent via a machine called remus.materna-com.de (IP address: 172.30.64.15) which may or may not belong to www.materna.com, a german company that provides secure hosting at data centres (for 02?).
Sent to me at an email address I have only used once (on a published web page). I opened the text file attached. It said "Look in the library and see if they're getting the jabs ready". No virus, and nothing more. Seems a bit sad really, who's going to bother using a mobile to reply to that? I reported it to O2 and Materna.- Caller: O2 / Materna
